Easy to set up, works flawlessly.
This is the second AMg chainguide I've installed on one of my bikes. I liked the first, on a Salsa Rustler, so much that I put one on my Salsa Cassidy too. Neither bike is known for dropped chains, but the Rustler's BB is very low and I was constantly striking the chainring on rocks or logs. The Cassidy has a slightly higher BB, so it doesn't strike as often, but I use that bike for DHing, and chainring hits are harder. The Cassidy has a 157mm rear axle, which forced me to use most of the included spacers; I was afraid I'd have to find longer screws, but the ones provided were just long enough. Installing the chainguide with the crank installed is possible, but getting the spacers right can be a little tricky because there isn't much clearance.

Absolute Necessity
Imagine your bucking it down a technical rocky double black. As you come into a turn you hear a sickening THUD mixed with a sharp CRACK. You’ve crack your down tube on a rock. Your frame is destroyed. Don’t be that guy. Buy this bashgaurd. You bought a 3000$+ mountain bike. Protect that bad boy so you can shred longer.

Good accessory
Had one of these on my old bike and found it useful especially getting it in and out of the back of the truck over the tailgate. Never really had it hit on a rock, but I do find the chain guard very handy on the chunky stuff.Take your time installing though to make sure you get it in the right rotation and location.

Overall does what it’s meant to do
There are little grey rubber pieces on either side of the chain guard and they can get caught and one side came out and will need to be glued back in. Otherwise it’s been great.

Great
Great quality. Works as expected, already tested on rocky section 😅

Very nice bash guard.
Finally I decided to get this Bash guard for my Santa Cruz Hightower 2020 and I love it, it fits perfectly. Now I can do more gnarly and technical trails without any worries. I tried them on my neighborhood trails and it does the job.

Does the job.
Installed on my 2017 specialized Enduro elite, my Enduro only has 2 out of 3 mounting holes. I made it work. It's a little frustrating to install because you don't know what size spacers to use.Once I fitted it, it does the job. I ran it thru the ringer and did a couple narly trail rides, and a day at the downhill park, so far so good.

Worth the extra money over the cheap ones
Fits good and works as expected. Price seems high, but this is a good value compared to the cheaper versions from other brands. There is very close attention to detail in the product design. I took the crank off for the installation, but it seems like it can be done without doing that.
