Update 6-25-23: Well got another one but it doesn't fit. The top part is 1.75 in and won't go through older 1.5 in sink opening. Had to go with the type with basket contrary to what I said earlier. Too bad. Do not get the kind with a basket!!! The stopper attaches to the basket unsecured and the stopper would not work half of the time or worse!!! This one the stopper screw hole is securely built inside the drain pipe so the stopper always works. This is my experience from several installs using this and other styles. This unit is high quality and install was easy. The large popup stopper is visually pleasing and doesn't look old school. The only negative is that the somehow hard water deposit forms calcium deposit circles on two other installs. So I just throw them in a bucket of white vinegar along with shower heads, faucet aerators, etc. and soak them overnight. Presto good as new :)

Looks great! Very easy to install. Holds water, drains with no leaks. Very pleased. I will be ordering again for another sink.

In chrome very attractive after 2 years. Works well. Holds water. No leaks. Good quality. However difficult to clean. Would like it to pop up further to clean or pop out.

We had two of these bathroom drains in our master bath sinks. Unfortunately, our cleaning service got a little too aggressive and pulled the top off of one...I think they thought it was the type with a removable cleaning basket. It isn't. :-) Installing of the replacement was very straightforward. I unscrewed the nut on the bottom (you need large channel lock pliers), lifted the broken one out, dropped the new one in place (using a bead of plumbers putty around both the top and bottom), and tightened the nut to hold it back in place. It's working perfectly...no leaks, drips, or other plumbing disasters. I've told the guys that the next time that they want to clean it, the mushroom top unscrews.

I just installed this drain in my upstairs bathroom. I have to say excellent product! Not only looks nice. But solid and well made. High flow rate drain. No air locking. This is the best drain I have installed. Easy install too. Definitely recommend!

Decent made product. The biggest issue I have is the way it seals to the sink itself. Following the instructions, you are supposed to leave both gaskets on the top (the part that is in the sink), unfortunately it allows water to just sit between the sink and the drain. When I have more time, I will install it the way it should be to begin with. Don't recommend using gaskets but some quality silicone sealant to make a better drain.
