This army place set has been such a good toy for my 4 year old. We love that it comes with a mat that is a battle ground for endless play. He loves this set so much. It is a good value over others that we saw.

The best thing about this set of army toys is the authenticity and durability of the vehicles. My 5-year old grandson is very rough on his playthings. He enjoys "testing them out." These little helicopters and tanks really stood up. He also enjoyed the playmat battlefield. The set sparked his imagination. There aren't a lot of soldiers, but they are in intriguing poses, allowing him to strategize various deployments. Despite the toys' durability, after 8 months of rough play (and my dog chewing a couple of the soldiers), the set was pretty ragged. For my grandson's 6th birthday I bought him a second set. He was thrilled! They've already been through many battles and are so far unscathed.

I like the vehicles and helicopters. They are well built and detailed. The only thing I don’t likeIs the men are larger that the vehicles. Definitely out of scale. This set was being purchased for construction of a diorama but the men are unusable.

We gave this for a birthday gift to a 7 year old neighbor boy who loved the army tank at the local Veteran's Memorial Park and playground.At first I thought the kit was missing the mat and some of the men, or didn't include all the pieces, but they were very compact and packaged efficiently-it was all there! So you couldn't see all the pieces and the play mat until you took everything out.Anyway, he loved the set, opened it up immediately, and set all the pieces up on the mat right then & there.I made sure they were American military, too, to match the tank at the park. It's a reasonable price range for all the pieces in the kit.I can't speak to durability, but they felt solid and were metal die cast. They also had rotating pieces if I remember right, which mekes them more realistic.I was pleased with the purchase.

We purchased this set bc my son wanted a "tank birthday cake" and were having the worst time finding any model tanks. This pack does have a tank but any vehicle that has mounted weapons broke nearly immediately. The guns are so thin, barely playing with them snaps them off. The army men are hilariously inconsistent. Overall it does what we needed, provided one tank for a cake topper.

Ordered an army man set with vehicles for my boy and he couldnt open it fast enuf!!

This was a WONDERFUL surprise! Not only all the metal vehicles so well made, quality soldiers are included as well as a small plastic 'play mat' .3 Grandsons (6,3,2) played with them for hours on Christmas Eve Day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
