Hellsing Deluxe Volume 1

Seriously. These dark horse deluxe editions are unparalleled. The print quality is S tier, and the toner is much richer on such higher stock paper which makes the art pop. This series especially benefitted from this treatment given the amount of black!

Extremely good quality, as it is the same type of "Deluxe" volume as what was released for Berserk, this is very much worth the money, plus there are only three of these Deluxe volumes for Hellsing so if you don't mind shelling out extra money, especially with the single tankoban volumes of Hellsing being hard to come by nowadays, the three Deluxe volumes for Hellsing are very much worth owning for any fan of the series.

If you like a stories about vampires and secret organizations then pick up this manga it will be worth reading. Not a long story but you will be glad you did read it.

I ordered Hellsing on 11 Sept and received it on 13 Sept 2020 today. The book is a leather bound hardcover. This is a beautifully crafted book. I have been a fan of these kind of stories for a long time. If you love reading about vampires, then you’ll love this manga. This deluxe edition collects the first 4 volumes. There’s a total of 10 volumes, so there should be 2 more books. I have included some pictures. The pages have a smooth finish to the touch, but not quite glossy. It has very detailed artwork that’s done in black and white. (Kinda reminds me of Berserk, which I’ll do a review of at another time). I have only read the first few pages, but I’m very familiar with the story. I would definitely recommend this book to mature readers only. Plus I’m a sucker for deluxe editions.

If you’ve watched the Anime adaptation of This manga known as Hellsing Ultimate and you loved that show and you want something unique and is a great Eye catcher on any shelf. The binding is, IMO, Flawless. The story and art inside the binding is absolutely AWESOME. I personally don’t think the story is too complicated that isn’t a negative sometimes simple is best sometimes and with only 3 volumes to buy it is a relatively cheap investment to make if you are a manga collector. 10/10

The content itself is great but the cover is so good looking that it brings a smile to my face anytime I see it on my shelf. It is hard cover, bigger than your average manga and the material truly feels premium for a deluxe edition worthy to be on display as the centerpiece of your manga collection.
