MAG-LITE® ML300L™ LED 3 Cell D Flashlight

Just the best available flashlight for utility and emergencies! Kind of expensive, but do you want "cheap" in a crisis? Bright, beam is a bit adjustable, solid construction! Simply nothing comparable. With care, should last a lifetime.

Again, Maglite is the bomb! Slightly smaller than the 4 D size battery unit (hubby's), but fits this lady fine with 3 D size battery.

This is a great flashlight. It is super bright and heavy enough to use as a self defense tool if the need arises. Seems very well made.

Perfect light and love the bulky size to keep in my Bronco! Best flashlight in history. Literally you pass these down to your kids.. don’t rely on rechargeable when the lights go out and get this for the long and RELIABLE battery life.

Heck yeah! Using it to point at the top of Douglas firs to find owls. Scared away the crows who poop on my car. Very good distance. Very bright. Heavy with the batteries. Good for self defense.

Purchased two of the Maglite ML300L LED 3 cell flashlights, one for myself and one as a gift, from WorldWide Distributors. They shipped the product as described, on time and it was well packaged. I would buy from them again. This is my first LED flashlight and it seems to be well made just like every other Maglite product I have owned over the years. I hope that the LED light lasts a long time because it appears that it isn't replaceable. At this point I have not extensively used the light, but have to agree with the other reviewer who was "not enamored" with the spread of the flood light at short distances. With that being said, I hope that this is something that I'll be able to get used to. Function: This light allows you to change the settings to different modes. You can leave it the way it comes from the factory, or change it to your liking. Also, the flood-spot function by turning the top of the light is very, very short, not like on other Maglite flashlights, on this one you can only turn it, I think 1/4 of a turn, so it is very short turn to get the spread you want on the light and so far I'm not sure I like this and again hope that it will grow on me. Also, the button functionality on this light is click on, click off. If you want it on setting one, one click, setting two, two clicks, setting three, three clicks; then one click to turn it off. If you want to toggle from high beam, medium beam, low beam for example. You can change the order of these settings and even include a strobe setting if you want. This functionality works and seems to work well, however I miss being able to do a 1/4 press on the button and let up on it again to turn the light on/off if you just want to briefly flash the light but not actually turn it on. Over all it seems to be a well built, well thought out light and the length of the three D cells gives you better purchase than my two D cells if you need to use the thing as a club.
