I bought a couple of these before taking a camping trip to southern oregon this summer. The forest fires in the area had been raging very badly before our trip and we were hesitant to even go. I figured we'd buy the masks and try to brave it out if it wasn't too bad.Most of the trip wasn't too bad and the night before our last day camping I was thinking I wouldn't get a chance to use the masks. The last day there though when we woke up it was amazingly clear, no smoke high visibility. We decided to hang out and put off packing up the car. Within an hour of waking up the smoke appeared out of nowhere. It was as if we were walking through a campfire.The masks were a lifesaver! We wore them for a couple hours as we packed up our campsite and finished everything we were doing. I felt bad for everyone else at the campground (everyone else was leaving too). The difference wearing the mask and with it off was amazing! These masks probably kept our family of four from the dangerous smoke better than I could have hoped!The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they do restrict your breathing quite a bit if they are used correctly. If you're breathing hard from activity you can breath, but it's a fair amount of work. That might be unfair since you usually wouldn't overexert yourself with a mask on - but it certainly was the only issue we had.

These masks are very nice. What I really like is, they don't have any chemical smell, feels thicker and they are individually wrapped. I had purchased some other brands in the past that had an unpleasant odor although it went away after a while, I didn't know if I should be breathing it or not and felt a little flimsy compared to these. These don't have that unpleasant smell. Yes, I will buy these again.

I was looking for a dust mask for the occasional miscellaneous household job (cleaning the ceiling fan, the vacuum, the storage room, etc...). I ordered these masks for the positive reviews and the double strap design. These fit my face well and stayed in place. There is a small foam strip on the inside opposite the metal bar that makes the area around your nose fairly comfortable and may work to close any gaps if you can't get a perfect seal. The double strap makes the fit feel tight but not too tight. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

These masks work really well and are an excellent price. However, while the mask itself appears to be well made and filters well, the attachment for the straps could be better. The first one failed after less than an hour of wearing it, the first time I took it off to get a drink of water. Strap just separated from the mask, and no real way to reaffix.

Mask fit very good, fit tight. Has double straps. Foam nose protection inside mask. Metal strap on outside to use for adjusting to nose. Filters out home dust n pet dander. Works great in the yard, when mowing or general yard work. I take off the metal strap, it hurt my nose. It stays tight and filter the same, without the strap, for me. Good deal on price. Will buy again. I wear glasses, no fog. I use one mask indoors many times, just check the outside of the mask for dark looking particles. Time to replace. Always face down (breathing side down) the mask when not in use, or put back in plastic bag. In hot weather, like most anything that's on your face, and covering your mouth, it is normal to be a little warm. Seems to wick really fast and dry. The mask are fairly large..approx.. 4-1/2 inch x 5 inch across, after about 10 hours of use. They keep their shape, well and stay tight against the face. No leakage as I can detect, even without the metal nose strap. There is a side benefit. You can use them as little hats on your pets. Thanks.

We have to wear these all the time. He could be mowing the yard or for dusting the house. I have to wear them just to do any kind of cleaning. I have no problem breathing with them on. I think they do the job. I know without wearing them I cannot breath and have a bad sinus infection.

Took these to China, it is amazing the difference it makes with pollution!

We love these masks! Have been such a good thing for myself and my daughter with our asthma during all the California fires.
