Made in the USA
My friend has one. He said it is very strong and looks great. Make sure you use Lock tight on the threads. Also tighten the Nut until the Washer is fully flat.

Exactly what I wanted
This hitch was impossible to find anywhere else, but we needed it for our RV before we went on vacation. So glad I found it on Amazon!

Good quality. A little overpriced.
It's hard to review a chunk of steel, but I'll give it a shot... It's a hitch ball. It's exactly what it's supposed to be. The only reason(s) for less than 5 stars is - 1. It's a little overpriced. It's pretty easy to find standard hitch balls for several dollars less than this one. I think it gets a premium charge because of the specialized sizing for Equalizer brand weight distribution hitches (WDH). The shaft length needs to be 2 3/8, with a shank diameter of 1 1/4. Try finding one of those in a store. When you need something specialized, you pay a specialized price. 2 - It needs a 'thin-wall' socket to install. Because of the way Equalizer WDH are designed, a 'normal' socket won't fit between the nut and the wall of the hitch body. I guess that's really more of a hitch design issue than the ball, so maybe it's not fair to ding this ball. Either way, I found the socket I needed (Craftsman 1 7/8", 3/4" drive) at Lowe's. It didn't say thin-wall, but it worked perfectly.

Great product.
Well packaged trailer ball. Works perfectly for the Equalizer E4 hitch that does not come with a trailer ball. This ball has the short threads so it doesn't interfere with the movement of the tension spring arms on the hitch when turning or backing fairly sharply like a typical "normal" length trailer ball will. Obviously somewhat more expensive that a regular trailer ball from Walmart or off the shelf at your local truck stop. But it's known quality. I use this to tow my 12,000 pound 37 foot travel trailer.

VERY NICE- PREFECT
Excellent! Exactly what I needed. Thread length was the correct length to work on a equalizer hitch head. Install requires 430lbs of torque...yikes. I had to pay to get it torqued to specs.
