Great guide! I found and worked with one of the travel agents listed in Novi Sad-Go Travel-and booked a fun excursion to Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna then back to Belgrade.

Great history background and solid resource for the "how to" in travels to Serbia. Will be taking it with me when I visit.

Published in 2013, the only travel book only about Serbia. (There's a lot to tell about!)

Mitchell has great insight on the culture, region and the history. We enjoyed our tour guide. Great read even if you are not visiting Serbia!!

I bought this for a friend. She says this is a must-have for tour leaders in the Balkans.

Very informative and a great read!

This book had a lot of information on all sights in Belgrade and various main towns and cities. At times it was quite wordy, but we learned a lot about the history of the country through the historical sights and accompanying write-ups. If in Belgrade, go to the main tourist office for ideas about various day trips.Beautiful country, a must read!

This is a great guide and I worked my way around Serbia easily using it. Was extremely helpful for car border crossings information which I had been struggling to find.

Lots of words in this travel book and just enough photos to make you want to go there.

Some years ago I bought a Bradt guide to Albania, which was very disappointing, so I was wary of the Serbia guide. But I found it to be very good, well up to the standard of other travel guides. It even has a brief account of Serb monasteries in Kosovo.
