This is an excellent bag! It’s large enough to be nice for a hike, bike ride or other similar activity; but small enough to be used as a purse. It’s a good nylon material that will wear good, but it also looks sharp. The stitching looks to be quality and well done. I like several things about the sling design. You can easily wear it over either shoulder and when you need to access any of the pockets you can either completely remove it or simply slide it around so that it now hangs in front rather than behind. Obviously if one shoulder is tired, you can easily switch to the other. The strap is nice and wide, so it will keep the weight distributed nicely. The strap is a bit of a gold color, with some reflective quality in it. For me, this makes the bag more appropriate for a woman than a man, but obviously this is a personal preference issue. It is important to note that the overall look and design of the bag will easily work for a man or woman. There are several pockets on the front and one on the back. There are two elastic pockets on the side, where you would typically find a pocket for a water bottle. These aren’t big enough for a water bottle. They will hold cell phone or something smaller like a pocket camera. It would be easy to attach a water bottle with a carabiner type clip or other clip. I like the design, look, and overall quality of this bag. I can easily give it 5 stars and a good recommendation. This sling bag was a purchase for my son to take to Disney World. It holds a large amount of items for its size and looks more rugged/manly than a typical hip bag, so he was thrilled with it. The bag itself held up well, but the yellow strap across the front pocket that hooks together with a metal clasp broke the first day. It is a decorative strap only, but it was kind of annoying that it just hung down and swung around for the duration of our trip. Upon contacting the company concerning the clasp, they replied that I just needed to push the clasp together firmly. I told them that a metal piece had fallen out of the inside of the clasp, making it inoperable. They requested a photo which was sent. They then told me that "maybe you can try a few times and make the small parts on the sides of the buckle perpendicular to the buckle so that you can insert it." Like most folks, I am fully aware of how to operate a buckle clasp. No amount of back and forth communication resulted in anything but instruction on how to operate said clasp. My son likes the bag enough that we chose to keep it and just cut the strap off so it wouldn't swing loosely. So, the bag itself is great, but the clasp is a joke. Communication with the company was rapid, but completely pointless for resolution purposes. Hence, a four star rating felt like a decent compromise, but it's really more like 3.5.

I used this as a daily carry bag. It's a great size, I can fit everything I want to have handy in it, and it looks good. I got lots of compliments and took it with me everywhere.After about a month the velcro on the front flap started coming unstitched. I hate velcro so this didn't bother me. Then the front, small pocket zipper broke. Then the larger front pocket zipper started coming unstiched. I contacted the seller, and they suggested having it fixed at a tailor. The tailor said that replacing the two zippers would cost as much as the bag was new. I passed this information back to the seller and they said that the best they could do was a partial refund.Now, the back "security pocket" zipper is coming unstiched, and part of the zipper is hanging out loose.I still use this bag, and probably will keep using it until winter coat weather lets me pack my stuff in that, and replace it in the spring. I like the bag, I just wish it wasn't such shoddy construction.

I bought this cross-body backpack after a different one I had broke. As a mom with kids who still need to hold hands in parking lots this is perfect for me. I don't have the problem that you get with a purse where the purse slides off your shoulder and bonks your kid on the head.So I get both my hands free and still get to have some personal style while walking around with my kiddos. It also holds everything I need it to. I especially like the fact that the pocket I keep my wallet in is zippered and behind that clasp so it feels super safe. There is a small zippered pocket on the backside of the bag that I never use because it's so small. Perhaps you could put some chap stick in it but I just use all the other pockets and leave that one empty. The only thing I really don't like about it is that the name of the company goes all the way down the strap that crosses over the front of your body. It's not super obvious but I'm not a fan of advertising for brands so I wish it wasn't there. BUT, I like everything else about the bag so really that's just a minor point in this case. I spent a lot of time looking over different cross-body bags and I am really glad I ended up choosing this one.

This is our second purchase. Love how much it holds. We took it on vacation and held all we needed including phone, poncho, a mini umbrella, food bars, money, sunscreen, chapstick and more. Even fit larger items we bought such as water bottles. Great for traveling and also plan to use as a day backpack when hiking. Have the black one and bought the green one second. I like the army green one best.
