Beautiful bowl but it was advertised as made in Japan but the label on the box said it was made in China. The bottom of the bowl has some imperfections which causes lumps not to fully disappear when I mix my matcha but overall the size is perfect along with the accessories.

Perfect piece for making matcha tea for yourself or as in a Japanese tea ceremony

The bowl has this weird edge on the inside that makes drinking the tea harder. The whisk and scoop also have a cheap feel to them, but I guess that's to be expected at this price point. If the bowl was slightly smaller and did not have that strange shape inside, it would be a much better experience

Absolutely loved this set!! So beautiful and easy to use.

Oh my gooodness, this mug is way too hot to the touch, and Ive spilled plenty of matcha all over me trying to prove this! I never had this experience in tea shops using the same style, so I'm baffled at why it's happening to me! I'm not making my tea THAT hot, but still, it sucks! So much for feeling Zen.

The sticker on the inside of the bowl says Contains Lead. Who wants to drink out of a bowl with Lead in it. Returned immediately/
