Nightcore Electric Ice Crusher, Ice Crushed Machine with Stainless Steel, Ice Crusher Idea for Home, Party and Gathering

I bought the 1st one on August 10th. I bought the second one for the cabin on October 25th. After a few weeks of use they jammed and quit working. Being an auto shop owner I just had to tear into it and removed the top and the sides. Just a few screws. Inside there is a printed circuit board with a soldered in fuse. I removed the circuit boards and unsoldered both ends of the fuse. I then soldered in 2 wires and ran them to the back of the unit and installed a single fuse holder on the outside of the back the unit. Happy to report that both units are working great and the house one is used multiple times daily. They are actually a great unit.

I bought this machine after my very similar Waring Ice Crusher finally gave up after 13 years of much use. I couldn't get a new Waring, so I settled for this, because this Nightcore version looked almost exactly the same and worked the same way--making crushed ice, not snow cone fine shaved ice. I didn't want shaved ice, because I wanted crushed ice for drinks, not slushies. This model worked fine for the first 2 times I used it, but the very next time I tried it, the motor made a high pitched noise and then stopped crushing ice altogether. The motor sounded like it was working, but the ice wouldn't go through and nothing happened. I tried pouring warm water through it , thinking it might of jammed (per instructions), but still nothing. Fortunately Amazon approved my return request, and I sent it back with UPS, a simple return process. It's sort of ironic, because the instructions tell you not to throw out the box in case you need to return it. I thought this was a bad sign when I read it, not much of a vote of confidence for the product. And sure enough, I discovered that the item is a piece of junk. I don't suggest buying this product. Unfortunate, because it looked like exactly what I wanted.

I purchased an ice crushing machine. I have a bit of habit of eating ice daily so I use this machine everyday. I have gone through lots of machines and this one became my favorite so much so that I bought one for myself for my birthday! The machine had a defect unfortunately but I contacted this seller and they IMMEDIATELY made it right and sent me a new machine, no questions asked! I will order from this seller in the future for MANY reasons but based on just customer service alone is enough for me to return.

Really happy with product so far (used 3 - 4 times now) and works like charm. Gooood crushed ice. My refrigerator did not. Have crushed ice feature and was missing but this seems to have complete it now (hope it lasts long)Very efficient about an lb of crushed ice under a minute. Optimal size chunks. Not noisy at all.

Had for two month just quit working want even come on.

PATIENCE!ALL ICE crushers need care when feeding ice into the hopper! If you feed too many large cubes/pieces at a time, any blade will jam. Relax, put one or 2 cubes in at a time. I jammed ONE TIME, put the crusher on its side and gently tapped... Walhalla! back in service... Never had a jam since. No melting stuff... I later learned that refrigerator cubes only are the best method. Wait for the big stuff to be crushed then empty the small leftovers. NO LEAKS when you are finished, I Mean No Leaks like other crushers have a problem with. SOUND? Really loud! What do you expect?I am so happy to have this on my countertop. No way will I waste freezer space for a crusher.Customer service is awesome. Response within 12 hours.Night core, after more use, I am excited about helping you to sell more if you have them? There is no better than a perfect crusher available anywhere... at all. The price is awesome. If this review does not pass my sincere review, I will contact you to thank you for such an incredible product.There are only a couple of NEW PURE ICE CRUSHERS out there. I tried a used one and sent it back.You will not be disappointed with this.

Piece of junk...everytime used it would jam up and the blades would come off track..my husband would fix it...even when only putting small amount of ice in...most of yhe time ice would just fall thru and not get crushed at all...wished i would of saved box...would of sent back...what a waste of money . if i was the company making this product i would be ashamed of selling this and ripping people off.

This works great, I'm in an apartment with no ice. I bought a counter top ice maker and this ice crusher, I eat on crushed ice with my soda. This combination is easy! I could see where the blades might bend or it could jam up with regular size ice, but no issues with small cubes, even the refrigerator's with the crushed ice option will jam up and bend the blades. I plan to get another one to have on hand just in case.
