Incredible work that is well displayed in this awesome collection of his work

A detail study on Mies. All the projects are discussed in a biography format.

Very comprehensive with excellent text and images. Much is new which is great considering how many persons have written on Mies over the years, especially the two major exhibits in 2001.

For a new $100+ book, I’d expect the cover to not be damaged.

Really great book.

It's the heavy version of PHAIDON, so as it's an expensive one, it deserves a bit more pictures.As always with PHAIDON, it is'nt a real anthology or monography about MIES; this book got a bit lack of plans, drawings, conceptual sketches and pictures...It's a thick book but 80% are texts wich are about the personnal life of Mies; it's written in a "people" way: I would have appraciated something more analytic about the buildings !As an architect I've been used to have lots of books in the public library of my school, (more than 10 000), and I know there was better books, but I didn't notice the ISBN number of these books cos I got them each time I needed. Now, I live far from this library and try to refind some very good books of the architects I love, but it's pretty hard !

Creí que esta edición recopilaba mejor información sobre los proyectos, aunque es muy extenso el volumen, se queda a veces muy superficial sobre los temas que trata
