Human Physiology: An Integrated Approach (7th Edition)

I found this textbook easy to read and very interesting! I actually didn't fall asleep reading the text! The photos, tables, diagrams, and figures were very clear and explained very well (there were only a few that I wish had a more detailed explanation). It's usually so hard for me to get through a science textbook. Maybe it's because physiology is such an interesting topic or maybe it's because the writers really considered how to make things easier for students to understand or maybe it's because I haven't read other physiology textbooks. Whatever the case, I wouldn't have been able to pass my physiology class with a decent grade without it. The level 1,2, and 3 questions were also really helpful and I appreciate that all the answers were actually put in the back (my past math textbooks only gave answers to odd numbered questions).

This book is absolutely the best "owner's manual" for the human body I've found. It's full of information presented in a clear format with plenty of color charts, diagrams and illustrations. There are excellent short reviews on things like using graphs, or biochemistry. The combined glossary and index gives you a quick definition, but if you need more depth the places to find it are right there, it's so simple and logical it's pure genius. I don't care what you do, if you know what's in this book your life will be better! Last, but not least, when I saw the author quoted Madame Blavatsky at the start of the second chapter, I knew this was someone that truly has more than simple knowledge, she has understanding!

This book is PERFECT! My class has the 8th edition listed, but as we ALLL know, these text book companies make like 4 changes and charge an arm and a leg. As a single mother back in school, I can't afford that and financial aid isn't an option because I already graduated. Anyways, the content in this international version is very easily understood and the layout is visually stimulating. The seller was efficient and fast in sending me the book. It came in plastic wrap with NO damage. I am so happy to have this book.

Pages a bit folded and wrinkled. Book spine definitely has been through somethings. But overall usable. Don’t recommend the used if it’s going to be toted places. 1) because it’s heavy & bulky 2) because of all the wear & tear I don’t want to add any more to it since I’m renting it.! I keep mine at home and then rented a kindle version for mobility purposes.

I love this anatomy book. This came in perfect condition. I used this book in my advanced anatomy class. This book has nice detailed pictures with explanations. I really like the random facts they incorporate through the reading. Talking about drugs, pharmacy, etc. this is what I look for when I read medical books. I look for not just an explanation but also how to tie it together with other departments of the medical field to get a full 360 view on how things work in your body. I love this book and still use it as a resource today. Great reading and learning tool for young adults!

Taking pathophysiology in pharmacy school, this was a wonderful book. It was so detailed, and supplemented the lectures with material. For me, reading helps me understand the material and put the big picture together. It explains in more detail certain aspects the professors went over in class that help me learn. The pictures are in color. The book I got was a paperback, but I did not mind that. Really, this is a great human physiology book that I would recommend any student to consider as a supplemental book or for a professor to consider as a required reading book. It definitely helped me study.

The book looks new inside all the pages. The cover you can tell it was used, but not much. I ordered the paperback version and it is perfect for my class and the cost was great. The only part was it took very long to get delivered.

Just received my item and it is bent in on multiple corners. One of the seams is ripped. The cover is dirty, dusty, and bent. The book seems used. Some of the pages have ink blotched on them. This is ridiculous. I paid for a new book! As a college student I chose to spend extra money to get this book brand new. I should get a new book. Not something that looks like it was run over and kicked around in its box. The box was also damaged as well that it came in. I’m not happy!
