Normally these cookies are very good and I have never even thought to check the expiration date but I did this time after tasting the first one. They appeared a bit dusty and the taste was stale. The expiration date was 4/30/25. These weren’t technically expired but definitely not the normal quality or a value for the money.Update today 3/25/25 I received an email from the company offering a full refund for the cookies so there do read these reviews. However the second box out of the 3 with same expiration date was normal and delicious. The company did not ask me to update review but since they cared enough to send the email offer I felt it only right.

I love Balsen biscuits, for me one of the best in the world. Unfortunately they came completely melted. Also the Baileys version is kind of weird, the taste didn’t blend well. My sight is that Amazon or Balsen should put them in a double box, so I would, maybe, prevent from melting. I also bought a 10 pack regular Balsen biscuits that arrived correctly. So the double boxes seems to have worked in the other order that I did !

These are so good. A thick chocolate on top. Cookie is crunky and a nice hint of peppermint. No thick chunks. There is not a lot in the package is only drawback. 6# I believe.
