I love these pens. They are high quality, and they make my writing precise.

This is the pen I've been waiting for. A simple, cheap replacement for my Pilot P-500s which are pricey. This pen is actually superior in the following ways: Easy to hold, comfortable--It has a rubber grip; No drag; No smearing at all. I am a righty, but I'm also a clutz and this doesn't smudge. It dries so quickly. I'm so sad to say this outperforms my Inkjoy 0.5 gel pens as well. They are cheap and light feeling--very cheaply made. But, they haven't broken at all. The only draw back is the metal clip snags and tears at my work lanyard. But that's not the pen's fault. I also purchased the 0.7s and loved them as well, but I'm a 0.5 kind of person. I'll never go back.

This is a great ink pen. I bought a pack of five a few years ago, and they are all still working and write exceptionally well. There is no smearing of the ink and no skipping. They glide across the paper, and I love them. I have even bought some to give away to friends.

I got these with the intent to use them for when I'm writing for a longer stretch when even the slight pressure required of a standard ballpoint would eventually lead to a cramped hand, but I was also worried about smears. I'm not a lefty but my writing is small and dense so it's a definite concern. My hopes were met and exceeded. The gel dries super fast; I've never had a single smudge in normal use. Plus they write like a dream--smooth and with minimal pressure. Would recommend to anyone. Totally worth the bit of extra money compared to your average cheapo pens.

I don’t think these pens are cheap, but it’s my second favorite pen I’ve had. I say second because my only qualm is that I’d prefer a little more ink come out than what does. It’s dark, it’s smooth, I’d buy it again and again. My favorite is a needle point and I prefer thinner lines, I feel my handwriting, which is awful, just looks neater and easier to read with thin needle tips.

As a lefty, traditional, standard ballpoint pens are not my friend. While I don't write with the "lefty hook", standard ballpoint pens refuse to write properly for me. I have to constantly turn/twist them, redo my hold on them or just throw them at the wall in frustration. These pens, however, write seamlessly every single time. I absolutely love all of the Pentel Energel pens my favorite is the RTX in needle point, but these are amazing; especially for lefties. The ink always comes out smoothly, there is no smudging and they are hassle free. I don't have to rotate the pen every other word just to get the ink to come out because I'm writing at a different angle. I work in the veterinary field so I write A LOT and it gets unbearably frustrating using "regular" or "normal" pens. I've been using Pentel Energel pens exclusively now for over 6 years. These pens are a lefties dream come true. Trust me. Just buy them. You will not regret it.
