Have used this multiple times and its perfect every time
Have used this multiple times and its perfect every time! So easy! At times I still have to strain as seeds develop outside the pod but it's no big deal. Very happy with the set!

The lid is great but the rest is just OK.
This set is okay. The lid was the best part of the whole thing for me. The Kefir grains never revived so I ended up throwing them away. The basket is too small for the amount of kefir grains I use but would work well if someone only wanted to make 1 pint (maybe 1 quart) of kefir. The fantastic kefir culture I got has quadrupled in a little over a month and would never fit in this basket, but I make 1/2 gallon of kefir a day.

Better with time and use.
Update of last review. The freeze dried kefir did get much more productive after a few fermentations, per the seller's feedback on my last review. I continue to think that would have been good information to have in the beginning. They could be a bit more complete with their info. Other than that, makes good kefir and the fermenting lid is great.

Be careful
I've purchased this product two times. The first time, it came with the kefir grains, the second time there were no kefir grains. What gives?

Very disapointing
I was so exited to get this kit,but what a disapoitmant, this dish is too small first of all, then when i try to ferment my grains looks like only outside grains getting soakted in milk, middle ones getting starved,so my milk after some time getting spoiled not fermented,i had my kefir grains for five years and they die in this kit, like somebody wrote only lid was the best part,i woud return but its too late now
