This stamping platform is perfect for me. It's not that flimsy and tiny like a cd case. It's a lightweight acrylic and it's pretty sturdy. It's the perfect size for me. I have a Tim Holtz stamping platform and I think I will be grabbing this one a lot more. I like that it's lightweight and doesn't have that bulky/clumsy feel and there's no hindrances on 3 sides of this stamping platform so you have more options for paper placement. The lightweight acrylic makes it easier to press the stamping image on to the paper. Also the grid lines are more visible for easier alignment. It works great with the clear rubber stamps but for the thicker rubber stamps I would use my Tim Holtz or stamping blocks. This stamping tool does a good job keeping the stamps in place if you need to re-stamp. I'm really happy with the quality, the ease of use and pricing of this stamping platform.

I use this stamping " folder" for all my stamps. I enjoy having control(I'm a control freak) over the placement of my images. Making multiple whatever you do, is a little easier. I'm not always that good at freehanding it. God bless you that can.

Smaller than I expected but it does the job. Seems to be fairly lite weight. A bit overpriced considering the size and light weight plastic.

I have a Misti platform but I wanted a small, less cumbersome stamper for small projects! I figured out a solution to the fact that this platform doesn't come with magnets! I already had some magnetic sheets and I cut one to fit in this small version. As you can see, it works perfectly for acrylic stamps! I love it. AND - I just realized instead of using magnets, I cut two small pieces of the magnetic sheet and used them to hold the paper in place. IT WORKS and isn't as thick as the magnets! Now I love it even more!!!! (Pardon the wiggily video, but it was difficult to hold my phone and work with the stamp, magnets and paper.)

I bought one of these a while back and essentially loved it. Yes, the reviews said that the grid rubs off and it did, leaving no lines to align stamps neatly, but it was still usable until I tried to apply a spray on sealer to what was left of the grid and messed up the stamp cling. The reviews also said that these come apart at the hinges - the old one did occasionally but not often enough to be a problem (mostly when I was using a thicker stamp). I bought this new one and immediately covered the grid with clear contact paper, which is protecting the grid beautifully! However on THIS niew one, it falls apart on almost every stamp, and between re-inkings of the same stamp. It is WORTHLESS for ensuring identical alignment between inkings because one or both hinges come apart and mess up the alignment. If I had not already applied the contact paper (which does not touch the hinges AT ALL, or affect the closure in anyway) I would return this. I am so very disappointed!

It is OK, just wish it was a bit more durable. The little hinge broke on my 3rd use. It's still usable but not easily. Also, I wish it didn't have a ridge on all 4 sides. Having all 4 sides with the ridge limits the size of flat paper you can place there, or if you use the stamp on that side, it limits the stamp too. But for the price, I did learn what I get in positioning.

I purchased this so I can have two of these in my card making supplies.

This is a small device. I also retuned it because I was able to get a less expensive item elsewhere.

It's not meant to go through the wringer.. it's just two pieces of plastic on a swivel. Probably would break if it fell on the floor to be honest.. That being said, it's great for stamping smaller pieces of paper, which sit nicely inside the tool. And it's much cheaper than some well known brand stamping tools!
