This Light is BRIGHT, I am very satisfied with Yongnuo's LED products.. They are a great quality item that last for awhile.I will say the shutters are kind of useless.. and the dimmer is a bit stagey.. as you brighten it.. which is fine as a steady light but not if you are trying to create a light effect with the dimmer..Overall Though.. Being able to use the generic sony batteries they last for hours on them.. and or you can buy the AC adapter to plug in and not worry about battery life.. It puts out a good quality light.I will be buying the larger YN 900 and 1200 so.. even with my critiques.. yes, I would buy this again and their other lights.I gave this 5 stars because for the price you are getting a very good quality light panel

The YONGNUO YN600II 5500K is a great all around light. It has unbelievable power much more than I expected. Mostly I run it under 15% so have 85% to go if needed. It is small and produces enough light to fit into any lighting setup. I did purchase a soft box that makes it softer and I seem to now always use it somewhere in the setup along with my YN1200 that also I has a soft box. I really like that you can run it on battery power or purchase an adapter and plug it into the wall.

Very happy I bought these. They are lightweight and easy to transport around. I first used them shooting a training video inside of a power plant with varying lighting conditions for each shot taken. Two of these were enough to overcome the yellowish sodium lighting in some of the locations so minimal adjustment was necessary to white balance. They lit up many dark locations very well. the batteries lasted for several hours of on and off lighting while shooting and werent even half used. I did spray paint the shutter doors flat black to eliminate the reflective coating on them.Great purchase for the price

Using three of these in the studio, it is pretty refreshing to use this vs speedlights. Usually use these for product photography, but also use it with my pets for portrait shots (seems better for their eyes instead of normal flash).The app connectivity is very good overall. I mounted my units permanently on arms that hang from the ceiling along with AC adapters for power, so it's nice to control these from a phone. The lights are nice and bright, and the fan is actually not very loud to me (not sure about video since I primarily do photo).The only thing I wish it had was availability of softboxes or light modifiers for these. Not the fault of the light, but I really hope more inexpensive modifiers become available. The only other thing I wish it had was a more secure connectivity. I think the units broadcast bluetooth all the time, so anybody using the app could connect if it's plugged in..Overall very happy with these lights.

Amazing light! Very bright, good price. I use with two of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075RBFDQV so only have to charge AA batteries. Batteries easily last long enough for me. The barn doors diffuse light rather than snoot it, and its not totally smooth without the supplied diffuser. Even so, I bought a second one. I'd buy more if needed.

The media could not be loaded. I thought I was buying a good product but the control panel in the back it’s not very good to use and goes on sleep mode after few seconds, the remote does not the job and do not control the light, the app is not also doing anything it’s controling only for bi color mine was a daylight full white led, also two les were damaged...it comes as no surprise without charger, and with no mount for stand or Tripod. You can’t play really well with the intensity of the light - so it’s not worthy for me

What a tremendous deal for the money. I own 4 Yongnuo 560EX III speedlites for my Canon gear, and this is another fantastic product.The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars is the goofy barn doors that serve little use to their intended purpose. The inside of the doors are a polished silver instead of a matte black, which just bounces the light instead of killing it. Really dont understand the thought process there, but it actually does serve to make a great interior softbox reflector if you use a nice difussion cloth over the unit.This light is very very bright for it's compact size and weight. It's a full 3 stops brighter than the new Yongnuo 600 AIR with dual color temps. I ordered both at the same time and tested side by side.At full power, the 5500K LEDs put out a ton of light. With three of these things you can light most any typical situation from various angles.Make sure you purchase the AC adapter and Batteries separately! I do like the way they split up that packaging so you can build exactly the set up you want.Great product
