Okay, I'm an odd person...I have real fingernails that grow and would be the envy of any woman who tries to grow nails and takes supplements and does all that stuff and STILL can't seem to grow nails. Mine just grow and they grow fast. But because I'm older, I'm not into the new gel or other kinds of nail polish (that use lights for drying) and have even quit using the old-fashioned types of nail polisMh. I like these files because they simply shine my own nails up. I swear, with these files, I can look at my nails and see where the original idea of "French" manicure came from. My nails shine like they have wet, clear polish on, plus with the length of my nails, my own "free edge" (the portion of the nail past the quick) is snow white and shiny. I have a NATURAL French manicure and these nail file shiners allow me to show off my nails without having to spend so much time and money doing that. I can always tuck one in my purse should I need one. Great item!

Highly recommend! These are perfect for doing my nails. I like keeping a pair at home and a pair in my purse or the car so I'm never without them. I love that they file smoothly and don't leave little snags like old school files do. Definitely a good purchase!

These files are amazing and a lifesaver! I love using them to seal my nails if broken and also use them on dry flaky cuticles. It seals and heals so much quicker using these!

Amazing. I love this item. It gets my nails so "glossy" (like I'm wearing a glossy 🌮 topcoat), even more so than any of the foam buffer pads I've used before. Plus! it's environmentally friendly! I have basic glass files for my nails so this was the next step to prevent going through those foam ones every 3-4 months. I've had it for a while and has shown no sign of "wearing down", so I imagine these will last a good long while (for reference, I've had my glass nail files for years). They come with individual cases, too! Very handy for storage/on-the-go. Btw the black-er tinged one is the shiny buffer, in case that helps. I had to go through some trial and error for a bit 😂

I love these nail files. The clear ones are for buffing your nails and the gray ones are for polishing your nails. When I first tried these I fell in love with them because these are gentle to my nails and makes them beautiful

Maybe it’s just my technique and ridged nails, but the buffer caused horizontal groves. There is some shine but now my nails are breaking down to the quick. The files are thick and I think that’s why I couldn’t buff well. Damaged the cuticles too. I’ve used regular (non-glass) buffers with good results.
