Using this for pressure sores
My patient is bedridden and gets pressure sores rather often. After countless tries of using a broad variety of products and creams, I've come to the conclusion that this silicone foam dressing is the best for pressure sores. They stick well to the skin, so it prevents the wound to get worse from friction. It provides an extra cushion to reduce pain. And most importantly, it stays in place and easy to remove without tearing the skin like other adhesives and dressings do. These work with the most fragile skin. They come in different sizes so you can use the most fitted size for the wound. Among the brands, LotFancy is by far the best brand I've used. They stick very well, while others tend roll on the ends or end up moving because the adhesive isn't strong enough.

In hindsight, the Boardered Silicone Foam Dressing has the potential to prevent a bed sore.
The Boardered Silicone Foam Dressing was an essential piece of my Sacral Wound Kit. The skin is very flexible in this area and would fold over on itself or get caught in the folds of the bedding causing a pressure point. You have to check and flatten any folds.Since we don't have Dr McCoy's blinking silver magic wand, my argument on a small but deep wound bed sore is that, Hydrocolloid dressings are not absorbent and leak. Also, a little gauze packing in a small deep wound is Civil War Era technology. One day this could be you and you want Space Age technology. The V.A.C. Granufoam Dressing is superior. For 30 days I turned my mother from her left side to her right side and off of her back and still it was not enough. One trip in a wheelchair or laying on the Emergency Room bed does not have enough cushion ing. An inflatable donut helps, but you can't bring stuff from home, into the hospital. So, when you get home, its like starting over, repairing a little more damage. God bless you Mom, we fought hard and we fought long.

This bandage is water resistant for sure!
I use this bandage on a large wound on my leg when showering, and this one works! Have tried others with less success. I recommend this!

Used to protect from getting bed sores
Used for someone who had a small bed sore. I was extremely happy with the results. Thanks to these patches the bed sore did not get infected because the patch kept it from getting fluids in. Best thing is that the bed sore is all gone.
