Excellent
The Black color is matte, perfectly matches Kohler black sink. Faucet is well made and came with necessary items to install. Good thing we got the plate, for sink had four pre-drilled holes and would have left holes exposed if not for the plate. Great find. Shipping was perfect too.Only negative, not thrilled with spout flow is a bit brisk. Water really is sharp. Wonder if that is a water pressure issue and not a faucet issue. Thought I should mention it anyway.

Nice kitchen faucet
This is a good product. It looks nice, has good features and works very well. It is weighted well so it retracts without a lot of effort. You can turn it on or off with one hand (or the back of your hand if your hand is dirty). It's easy to keep clean. It's a good faucet.

Unresponsive seller
I loved my new faucet for our recently renovated kitchen until the flow button broke off. I contacted the seller twice and never received a reply. We only had the faucet in use for a month! When I looked for a replacement part, I found that this faucet is no longer available.

Surprisingly Easy to Install!
We had both a Delta and this Kohler faucets - decided to keep and install the Kohler - so glad we did! There were only a few parts (Delta had far more) and the instructions were pretty clear. The hardest part was taking out the old faucet. My husband had the new Kohler in place in 30 minutes or less. One note: It appeared that the weight for the sprayer had not been included so we used the one from our old faucet. When I went to dispose of the box I realized it was heavier than expected and found the weight under the inside packaging! Our thoughts for now - we love this Kohler faucet!

Great faucet; no regrets
I purchased this faucet to replace a Moen that failed after 8 years. I specifically wanted to try a different brand. I also purposefully selected the K597 model since it is smaller than the 596 and I was concerned that the gooseneck would be too overwhelming and that the height of the nozzle would create sink splatter.I installed myself in a single hole application.Great--easy and smart installation; well thought out--hardware seems solid/well-made--functions as expected--easy side to side swing motion--easy on/off hot/cold controls--easy spray/stream/pause--no leaks or issues or defects after 1 week's use (I will update this post if I find one)Not So Great--in spray mode, a single stream is misdirected out from its peers and it looks silly--despite getting the 597, there is still some splatter. I think this is just a function of the higher nozzle which tempts you to do work at a higher level, but it may also be the combo of my sink deplth (8 inches) and the nozzle height--why matte black? where's oil-rubbed bronze, which I would have preferred? I ended up with stainless steel and it's fine.--the nozzle reach is probably a foot, foot and a half from the sink after adding the weight. still useful--the weight was not strong enough to retract the nozzle to my satisfaction. I added the weight from the old sink as well and am happy with the retraction now.I would recommend this product.

sooooo pleased!
had concerns buying a new faucet for my kitchen remodel as so many reviews described dissatisfaction with low pressure faucets taking too long to fill the sink, etc. Be assured this is not the case for me. The matte black goes beautifully with my sink. The pull down feature works well. It does have to be fed back into place...you can't just let go of it and expect it to auto-retract. Would definitely buy again.

A nice quality kitchen faucet
This faucet replaces an approximately 13 year old American Standard faucet. In the end, we couldn't get spare parts for the American Standard and they told us the warranty does not cover the finish.Out with American Standard and in with Kohler! This style is a little different looking but you get used to it. I no longer have to worry about the separate sprayer leaking, and even if it did, it's right over the sink. Any leaks fall into the sink rather than following the neck down where it eventually floods the counter. The faucet seems well made but does seem a bit light for a $300 faucet. Installation is a breeze! For one, the method of tightening is much better than our old faucet, which was forever coming loose. Plus, it is very easy to do! The connections for this faucet are also much easier to use. Both water volume and temperature are progressive and easy to control. My complaints are few. For one, the valve should be reversible. I suspect it is, but the instructions don't mention it. Also, the instructions could be a bit better. It would be nice to have a dedicated set of English instructions. At this point Kohler customer service is an unknown. In summary, I would definitely buy it again.
