Easy to install, quiet, works well with Alexa, and flawlessly reliable.
There's really nothing bad to say about this. It's a perfectly good solution and at a fraction of the cost of some big name brands, ones that rhyme with comfy for example.Additionally, as it's direct wi-fi responds to verbal commands via Alexa far faster than my other blinds which not only need a £180 hub to control, but are also slower to respond. If you don't mind a little DIY, it's quite possible to make a very professional job using this kit. I chased in 2.5mm T&E to a 5amp fused spur outlet near the window, plastered and painted it, and I'm so delighted with the results I'm doing all the other house windows too.The Tuya app is easy to use and connected to the blinds first time. Alexa integration is likewise also a doddle. In addition to the kit, brackets, and motor, a remote control is also supplied, along with a neat little holder that can be affixed to the wall near the window. So in the event your wi-fi goes down, you can still control the blinds.Finding a tube to fit is straight forward, and I made my own blinds from calico and iron on roller blind backing (stiffening material).Total cost of everything I've described above was around quarter of that which I had previously paid for a brand name solution. You live and learn.

This handles my heavy blackout blind
This is great, good value for money, quiet and classy, no battery to worry about with charging and lifetime, simply plugs in to mains which is what I was looking for. This handles my large patio doorway blind just fine and was easy to set up with the app and then pairing to the remote control, for pairing to the remote control remember to press the pair button on the app then press the up or down button on the remote (Instead of the reset button on the back)The only negative points I can think of are the cable length, It's pretty short and could benefit from a meter or two, and the idle side cap for the tube is a bit too loose for a standard 38mm tube and doesn't fit snug, I had to fill it out with some electrical tape and reinsert, might use glue in future, other than this though It's great for the money.

Works well, instructions can be difficult
I am impressed with this product. It appears to work perfectly (was installed yesterday) and is controllable both through the Tuya/Smartlife app and Alexa. It is easy to set up, although the instructions aren't the clearest, and the are vital as they explain how to set the upper/lower limits and the travel direction. Once you work them out how to do this, they work well, however. The power cord came with a moulded UK plug (which I wasn't expectind- the picture shows a bare wire). The cable isn't long enough to reach the floor from the ceiling, in fact mine only reaches the windowsul so you'll have to get and install an extension lead to power it.Mine squeaks a bit but I believe this is down to my own incompetence with installing it- a little bit of lithium grease sorted this out.Motor has lots of torque so is fine with controlling some quite heavy blinds.Requires a 38mm tube which is quite uncommon in the UK it seems, however I managed to get this by buying from blinds2go and specifically requesting a bigger tube.On this point, the motor fits perfectly but it seems the idler at the other end is a very loose fit- not sure if this is how it is supposed to be (once it is installed it makes no difference anyway).Overall a good product that works well!

Setting upper and lower limits and Smartlife app.
The media could not be loaded. It's robust and good value for money. Comes with all the fittings required, all you need are screws and wall plugs. Check out the uTube video on installing the Zemismart wifi rollerblind motor before trying to set it up and make your own notes. It makes more sense than the written instructions supplied. After that it's a doodle to set up. Very easy to set schedules with the Smartlife app and connect to Alexa or Google for voice control which is all explained in the utube video.

Happy until IT STOPPED WORKING < 2years since purchase and bi-daily use avg 1x per day??
Happy until IT STOPPED WORKING < 2years since purchase and bi-daily use avg 1x per day??Stopped working, is it normal after "You last purchased this item on 12 Oct 2021" less than 2 years bi-daily use (has not worked for 2m), who knows...Probably 500 times of use of a product is a waste of money -- >10 pence per use + electricty + labour install/uninstall -- probably cheaper to go with IKEA, etc. new blinds and no cabling nighmare (battery powered)!?Probably a cheap motor that has given on light use -- sorry, usually do not leave reviews positive or negative, thanks.

Absolutely brilliant! - despite a struggle with fitting!
The media could not be loaded. This is a brilliant product. Bought a 40mm plastic pipe from B&Q . Cut it to the size (😂) and tried it. Did not fit . Few more small cuts and I got there, but then the fitting inside only worked for a couple of turns up and down and failed, as the rubber inlet was too small for the pipe. Tried some double sided tape- failed as it wrapped around the rubber wheel! Then I took a roof insulation tape ( bituminous type), cut it at 1cm wide and wrapped it ( pressing firmly against the dips in the wheel) and then pushed it inside the pipe. Had it now for 4 weeks and works like a dream . Had a bit of a trouble setting the up and down limits as the app didn’t show me the icons that are presented on the YouTube demo. Finally decided to do it with the remote control as in the YouTube demo and managed to get the up and down limits- and now the app doesn’t tell me anymore to set the engine limits! Attached is the Alexa integration in a video ( btw I didn’t do anything special to integrate it , just asked Alexa to find my new devices) and the video you see is the first attempt to connect Alexa to it. Overall for the price and integration I give it 5 stars( have other Smartlife app products- such as smart plugs and underfloor heating) and they all work great. The curtain itself was bought from Amazon too. For just about over£50 for the whole kit is just amazing! Highest recommendation!
