Gamehide Shelterbelt Mid-Weight Upland RipStop Hunting Vest

While looking for upland game hunting vests, I came across this vest. It seemed to be the best bang for the buck, so I pulled the trigger on it. Overall, my thoughts are very positive. It seems sturdy and well-made. The pockets are roomy and close well. There seems to be plenty of room in the game pouch and the front load is always a plus. I have not been able to try it out in the field, but I like it so far. Note: It runs big for room to wear heavier outerwear during the colder seasons, so keep that in mind. If you only plan to use it during warmer months with light gear, order a size smaller than you normally would purchase. For example, I wear a XXL shirt and ordered an XXL vest. With just a shirt on, it hangs a bit. I could wear it, but it is loose. If I had on a jacket, it would fit comfortably without being tight. I will update it after i take it in the field if other thoughts are needed.

These are very well-built vest! We ordered four of these in adult sizes small, medium, large and 2x because the product description and many reviews described them as loose fitting. I would say these are true to size, with just enough room for a very light jacket. I washed them and hung to dry before and after the trip. They fit accurately, but I won’t put them in the dryer because I believe the cotton fabric would shrink, which would make them too small for us. They have very practical features and as shown in the pictures, good visibility. Definitely would recommend and buy again if needed!

Well made product. No complaints

Not too heavy for warmer weather in early fall. Plenty of room for a warmer layer underneath if needed. Shell holders held 20 ga ammo would do the same for 12 ga as well.

At the price point it hit all the things I needed and worked really well for an upland hunt. Good color and fit

It's great for carrying my husband's small game. The pouch is well made, but the vest runs large. It's perfect for wearing over a jacket.

Worked perfect, easily held a box of 16 gauge shells. I wore it with a T-shirt, 75 degree day, and the neck will ride forward unless you have a hood collar, or game in the pouch.

My husband wears XL shirts and jackets etc. The Vest seems to run large if wearing over a lightweight shirt. Might be ok if wearing a heavier weight sweatshirt or jacket. Otherwise a very nice vest with lots of pockets. We recommend! Nice quality!
