This is a great starter kit for those considering getting into marbling

This kit really does have everything you need, even fun extras like having a variety of tools for creating designs, like the multi-sided comb-like tool. The paper it comes with worked well. It even has a little clothes line with pins, to hang your artwork to dry. I recommend having additional paper on hand to work with, and gloves or tongues to retrieve the paper, other than that all you need is water. The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 is because the white ink had separated and could not be re-incorperated, no matter how much we shook the bottle.

We let it sit for close to 12 hours as recommended - every single color (besides black and blue) doesn't work whatsoever. We shook them until we were blue in the face, the colors do not work. On top of that, every single paint container is horribly designed, once the inner seal is removed it is impossible not to splatter everywhere, and the lids do not even stay put, there is 0 seal. I can't imagine even using the paints a second time and trying to shake them, we would have to plug them with our fingertips? Horribly cheap design. I am trying to decide if I should just toss the paints and buy new ones for the next time they want to try marbling, because there's no safe way to store these. $40 wasted!

About 3 of the colors did not work properly bc maybe do to past shelf life, but the rest worked fine; looking at what you get, the set should really be priced around 15 dollars.
