I purposely included the word touchscreen in the title because it is a “touchscreen” laptop. I’ve seen some confusion about that in some of the comments. This is a “touchscreen” laptop. I purchased the brand-new version. Used ones are being sold. I bought the new computer. Now be-clear: this is a highly exceptional deal. Value for the money in my opinion is beyond comparison. 16 GB of ram, 128 SSD Drive with one terabyte of HDD, touchscreen tablet, 15.6 inch screen - this is an amazing deal for the price. It’s fast, very very very fast. That’s because of the 16 GB of RAM and the SSD drive. If you don’t know about SSD drive, you want that. It makes the computer Boot up much faster. This computer actually has two hard drives. It uses the SSD to Boot Up and store data, it’s a solid component and boot up is amazingly fast it also has 1 TB HDD This computer will last me a very long time. Before I made my purchase I had looked at (I.e., studied for months ) several different Dell laptops. I have an older Dell laptop, it needed replacing. It did not qualify gor Windows 11 upgrade and was getting slower by the hour. For the speed, the ram, the duel drives, and all of the storage this compares verifiably to the XPS class of dell computer. This laptop comes with Windows 10, but upgrades to Windows 11 upon setup. Computer will remind you to run all the updates for the Dell computer. Once the computer is set up you will see a prompt make sure you run them. Anyway, I strongly recommend purchasing this computer. This is an excellent price for a very very very good computer. Frankly, this is a steal. I’m not a Dell or Amazon employee - just an Amazon prime customer that’s very happy with this purchase of my new laptop. I highly recommend this computer. Once again, I bought the new laptop and not the used laptop.

The laptop is as advertised, the newest laptop from this line... I anticipated an i5 laptop and got an i7 which can run some entry level games pretty well with no bugs. I've run SOLIDWORKS and Matlab/simulink on it with no issues so far. I've run the old halo on it as well and it's run very well I would definitely recommend if you need a pretty powerful yet affordable machine. Beware though: This is not a touch screen laptop though so if that's what you're looking for this is not the laptop you want.

trac pad doesnt work and after 10 months the computer must be left open the hinge broke and is pulling the screen apart. This is an update after 11 months. I got an email saying warranty was expiring So I called them about the hinge and they came and fixed it within 2 weeks. Very happy with the Dell service. I can close it again and the hinge is fixed and not pulling the screen surround away. Very happy.

Very easy, intuitive set-up guidance. Very fast boot up and shut down. Excellent screen quality. Tons of SSD and hard drive storage. Super-efficient keyboard feel. Very happy with the quality and at a very affordable price-point.

I bought this DELL laptop on January 31st 2022 and I am paying monthly statements for it. That means that I'm financing. Only after 6 months of usage, the frame containing the screen suddenly broke and I cannot even close the laptop. If I do it, the frame will break completely. I cannot take it anywhere under these conditions. I contacted the sell and his plain answer if: "the 30 day warranty is over, so contact Dell and see if you eligible for warranty. I contacted DELL days ago and to my surprise they will not replace it, but repair the laptop. Amazing, isn't it? They tried opening a ticket for this incident and they are still having problems in their system to report this possible manufacturing failure. I'm still waiting for their instructions to ship the laptop for repair. I asked for a replacement, and they answer was not. I also asked to borrow a laptop from them why they repair mine and the answer was NO. The repair they say can take up to 10 business days. Isn't this unbelievable? I won't be able to work, I'll lose money, but DELL does not take responsibility for selling a bad product. DO NOT BUT THIS PRODUCT at all. As pet today June 29, 2022 I'm still waiting for DELL to send me the instructions on how and were to ship my laptop for repair. Today October 20223, I am submitting my review again because I want to warn other customers about the terrible quality of the laptop that I received from ROCK ELECTRONICS after placing my order thru Amazon: ROKC Electronics shipped a defective laptop to Amazon and that is what I received. Though I ordered the laptop from Amazon, ROKC Electronics is responsible for having shipped a damaged laptop that caused me too many problems. They did not take responsibility and they just said that I had to contact Amazon. I spent $270 to ship the laptop back to Amazon Returns. Does it make sense? Not at all! As a customer I had to spend a lot of money to return a damaged product they provided. To make things worse, Amazon only refunded me as "Good Will" the amount of $150. How dare them! As if Amazon were doing "charity" to "help" this "poor" customer. Shame on you provider and Amazon!

It is fast. It is accurate. It has a wonderful keyboard and it's black which doesn't glare. It's also not very heavy. Very portable.

Purchased this laptop back in 2022. Still works well. It did take a beating due to me falling asleep while trying to complete coursework and dropping it. However, it still functions well 2 years later.
