Love these Donut House K-Cups! Our office has a Keurig 2.0, and we fly through coffee like you wouldn't believe. We particularly drink a lot of decaf, so we're not all bouncing off the walls. We weren't too sure about an off-brand K-cup, like Donut House, but it is definitely worth it, and hte price is fantastic. It tastes great. Starting off Friday mornings with a Donut House K-cup and a donut is a perfect start to the end of the work week. The K-cups are surprisingly tasty. It actually does taste almost as good as any regular brewed cup of coffee. They work in all Keurigs, including our 2.0. We appreciated that the description on Amazon points out that it works in all Keurigs because we have ordered k-cups in the past that we assumed would work with ours, and as we found out, they did not (or they were a mix of some that did and some that didn't). These work great in our 2.0. Ground to the perfect size, it doesn't take too long to fill up your cup of coffee and be on your way. Thanks Donut House!

I'm a new owner of a Keurig coffee brewer, and included with my new machine there was an assortment of different K-cup coffees to try. Most of the coffees were labeled as "dark roast" or "extra bold" which ended up being much too strong for my liking. I was happy to discover there was a "light roast" version of Donut House available on Amazon in the K-cup, and I quickly ordered a box to taste how it compared to the dark/extra bold varieties I had tried. This is definitely the coffee for me! Perfect taste, not overly strong or bitter and not overly acidic, I knew I had found the perfect K-cup formula for my preference. I have to say, it's confusing when searching for this particular formulation. First, Donut House and Donut Shop are different brands. I couldn't locate a Donut SHOP variety in a light roast, but that doesn't mean it's not out there. It took me a while to find the Donut HOUSE brand in the light roast, to be honest. I've already finished up my first box and am back to order more. So far, this is definitely the best tasting coffee in the K-cups that I've been able to find.

I had traded with a member of our Yahoo group for a box of Coffee People Donut Shop Coffee and this one kcup was in it. Without even realizing it, I had put it in my B40 and selected the 9.25 mug size. Now remember I thought it was the C.P.Dounut House XBold. Well when the coffee started filling my cup, All of a sudden this wonderful aroma of chocolate filled the air. I thought WOW!! this is some coffee. Though there is some chocolate flavor, my favorite will still be Van Houtte Chocolate Almond. So after drinking my coffee, I emptied the box hoping there would be another one. Sadly there wasn't. When I went to dispose of the Kcup there still was this wonderful fragrance of chocolate being emitted from this Kcup. The sweet nuance of chocolate is so strong and I hate to throw it away; ( I have the Kcup here with me now). I wish they could make a car freshener like this. So if you are a Chocoholic like me, give this one a try. Now I want to buy a whole box of this one flavor LOL. This would be rated as between a light and medium roast.

Taste is subjective, but to speak for myself, I REALLY like this flavor. It is an actual coffee K-cup, unlike some of the "mocha" K-cups that I've tried, which were instant coffee and cocoa mix in a cartridge. There's actual coffee grounds and filter in this one. To answer another poster's question, mine came with 24 (not 18) cups - and I do plan to purchase this again. Probably in a couple of weeks. (We just got our Keurig a few weeks ago, and I'm buying a bunch of different K-cups to see what we like. Consequently, I have a huge stack of coffees to go through before my next purchase.) I like this one - the chocolate taste is subtle: it's not a mocha, and to play off of the official description, it's not like a donut which has been dunked in coffee. It's more like a regular (but tasty) coffee that a chocolate donut has been dunked in. You get a coffee taste, with a chocolate aftertaste... which tastes better than it sounds.

This was my favorite brand years ago but then it seemed to have changed. I thought I would give it another try after more than 6 years. There are better options for light roasts.

As I frequently entertain, these pods come in very handy. It’s wonderful to have delicious decaffeinated coffee available in an instant. My guests have commented on the good taste as well.

This particular flavor of Donut House coffee, Chocolate Glazed Donut, is categorized by Green Mountain Coffee as a "Light Roast" (as indicated on the box). Light roasts have more of the natural coffee flavors that are inherited from the growing regions and the longer the beans are roasted, the more the original flavor of the bean is overpowered by the roasted flavor. The flavor of this coffee is not very strong; I have had other coffees with TOO much chocolate (or mocha) flavor blended into them and the boldness takes away from the coffee or leaves a bitter or burnt flavor in your mouth, but this coffee is a great balance. Most people will add sugar or creamer to enhance the chocolate flavor or to mask the coffee flavor. One creamer I will suggest that works well with this coffee is International Delights "White Chocolate Macadamia Nut" liquid creamer. I love this coffee and recommend it to anyone who likes to have coffee for dessert or those who like a sweet treat first thing in the morning.

Product arrived earlier than anticipated. Absolutely delicious coffee...not too bitter or strong, so I quite enjoy it. I add 2 teaspoons of Agave Nectar and either French Vanilla Soy Creamer or Unflavoured Soy Creamer.....the French Vanilla REALLY enhances the taste of the coffee for me. Some may find it too sweet. I make a cup every morning at work, and always receive comments from those walking into the staff room.... "What smells so good?"....

I keep it in my desk for emergency office coffee. Very handy and tasty and with the rising prices of coffee this product was well within reasonable price.

This is a great flavored coffee. It has enough of the chocolate without it overwhelming the coffee component. Some flavored coffees are so strong you can only drink them occasionally without getting sick of them quickly. Chocolate glazed donut is one you can drink regularly for an alternative to your daily brew without it becoming too much before you've finish the box.

Taste is ok, though I like starbucks taste better. But good enough for the price. Put honey to make it taste better.
