Works well with a few adaptions to a vintage music box
Works well but had to make more openings in a vintage music box to secure it in place This mechanism only has two holes and screws to secure it and my vintage music box has 4 holes.

This is the same mechanism that is shown for a lot more $$ on Amazon from different sellers so the price is great and a real factor. I buy mechanisms monthly but was exploring because the song options are limited for less $$ elsewhere. Having a larger variety made the price worth it to me.These 18 note mechanisms play a very short version of the song so please don't expect more than just being able to recognize the song.Easy to install but the key is super short. Arrived quickly but I think it should have come in a box to protect it rather than the mailer pouch but that was Amazon and not the seller bc this was Amazon fulfilled.I will purchase again and other tunes as well.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to go inside of a miniature House. It was a little bit bigger than I thought it would be. But I Put it Behind the miniature house and it worked out so beautifully. I would definitely buy another one.

It worked great. I had to replace the 79 year old box and install into the old music container.
