Esoteric Structure of the Alphabet

Words are everything. Many secrets are laid up in them. So far I like the book.HOWEVER, it would have been great if there were some pictures of how to diagram the alphabet which the author speaks of in about the middle of the book. I have been looking into the information on language and the breakdown of words as well as meanings from ancient times and earliest languages. I'm by far not an expert but it is an interest I have. This book explained a lot.ALSO, I think the author is trying to condense a lot of information in a small amount of space. Some people just want the facts, I wan diagrams, pictures, explanations, examples, etc. he does well enough but I think he could have done a lot more with this book.MOREOVER, this book appears to be an old text with a new cover and publishing date. If so, I think it should be disclosed on the explanation of the item.

This little book packs a huge wallop. It quickly unveiled to me how little I knew about the language I spoke everyday and it also succeeded in doing something that nothing else had ever done: Illustrated the innate beauty in my name. Hitherto, I absolutely hated my given name and never went by it, but now I insist people speak my name when referring to me...I love this book.

A beautiful & scientific breakdown of the alphabet. It'll have you looking at the scriptures in a more realistic manner.

Reprint of another book, not the information I was looking for. Not in a current writing that entices you to keep going. Misses a lot of opportunities to really explain the letters.

Being a major fan etymology, and, of history, in general, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As one raised in Christendom, I found very educational.

even if untrue in a historical or philological sense, the author presents a fascinating way to think of the symbolism represented by alphabetical character symbols.

A brief dip into this reveals it's very good. It isn't a large volume but it doesn't need to be.

This book is interesting but a bit too scholarly... so I personally found it pretty dry. Neat concepts though.

Nice to learn a little of this history!

Interesting book for those interested in the esoteric and occult use of words and letters.
