Little Donkey Andy Women's UPF 50+ UV Protection Shirt, Long Sleeve Fishing Shirt, Breathable and Fast Dry

I've had this shirt for over three years and just wanted to come back and write a review because it's a favorite staple. It's lightweight, cute, and comfy. I really love it for when I'm gardening in the summer and need to prune in an area with poison ivy - keeps the sun and the rash off my arms!

This is now my favorite traveling shirt. I use the pockets for my Bluetooth ear buds, Earplanes, painkillers, cell phone, and charging cord when I fly. The pockets have Velcro which helps with security (although my cell phone is a little big). The blue color is a true blue and not an off color. The fabric breathes and was nice in hot weather. I normally wear 3XL and ordered XXXL which was the largest size available, and it fits nicely above the waist but tight below the waist. I wore a white tank top under it unbottoned. I rolled the sleeves up but I couldn't roll them up above my elbows because the lower sleeve was too tight, but I did roll them up below my elbows. When I rolled the sleeves down because the cabin was cool in the plane, the wrinkles smoothed out quite a bit. The shirt is well-made. I have a couple pair of pants by Little Donkey Andy that I wear for working out and traveling, and wouldn't hesitate to order again.

I bought two of these shirts for international travel that would include hiking in a hot climate. I was so impressed with the performance of the shirt. It was light and yet provided warmth without getting overheated. They also dried very fast! I liked how they both looked and felt. The downside was that one of the shirt’s buttons were machine attached in a way that the thread just pulled right out. So, ugg, now I have to sew on buttons. The other shirt did not have that issue so 🤷‍♀️. Also, they were both super wrinkled out of the package. Washing and drying did not change the creasing at all. I had to iron them with a warm heat. (Be careful to not use a hot iron because the fabric would melt!) Except for the button issue, I highly recommend these shirts. They felt true to US sizes.

I have Lupus so the sun is not my friend. This shirt is so stinking cute and comfy. I wear it on the beach, in the pool, working in my flower beds and it keeps me completely protected and cool.

It's summer in the desert and I can only wear this shirt evenings when it's cooler - like an open jacket.It is like wearing plastic - it holds all my body heat if buttoned and the first thing I do when I get home is take the shirt off so I can cool down.The style, design, and sewing are beautiful. I love the rich deep yellow color. But the fabric does not breathe and I cannot stand getting hotter and hotter and end up unbuttoning the shirt as much as possible.Wish the same design was done with a fabric that had some cotton or linen in it.

The shirt has great ventilation and even in very hot summer weather I am comfortable. I wear a plus size, and this shirt fits well and is true to size although the fit around the hips is a bit tight while other LDA women's plus size shirts have a more looser fit in the hips which is nice to have in the heat. Overall I like this shirt a lot, it's easy to wash and drys quickly. I also bought hiking pants made by Little Donkey Andy and I love them. They have a lot of zippered pockets and are made of a cool and comfortable fabric. The waistband is adjustable on the pants, and while the legs are a bit long on me, they do have an adjustable cord at the base so you may tighten the legs so that the pants tend to sit on the top of your shoes or hiking boots. I use the pants for gardening and all around wear, the knees are flexible and are great for any activity.

Over the past few months I tried multiple brands of hiking and general outdoor travel shirts. This one is a winner and the best. Guess it took a lot of "try ons" to find one that fits well (most other similar shirts have arm length for monkeys or gorillas...way too long. This one fit perfectly top to bottom INCLUDING arm length. Will buy again in another color.

Sizing off. Much too large. Colour not as advertised. As well, I usually only order items that qualify for Canada Post delivery as I am handicapped. To return this I had to have someone drive me to the next city to a courier drop off centre. AND in addition, there was a significant charge levied to return this item. I am not impressed with Amazon’s new return policies.

Lightweight, comfortable and wears well. This shirt packs well for travel and kept me warm enough in the morning and cool enough in the afternoon in Kruger National park.....
