Simple but Clever strategy game enjoyed by 3 generations of the family. After a couple turns, the 7yr old was in competition with 60 yr old grandparents. This game is great for having a quick end of day fast play time ( 15 minutes) but can be done as rounds like “3 out of 5” or “beat the winner” for extended play time and spreading around the fun.This was a great Christmas Day gift for me but afterward it was “borrowed” and enjoyed so much I gave up and bought a second one to keep at home. =)The game itself very well made and has good packaging for storage.

I had seen ads for Quoridor for a while and finally decided to give it a shot. My friend and I decided to 'try it out' late one night and were immediately hooked. We played for hours and had a blast. The concept of the game is super simple but there are lots of different strategies. I have only played 1v1 so I can't speak to the 4 player game play, but if you're looking for a great game to add to the collection I highly recommend Quoridor.

We have been having so much fun with this game! Games are short, so we’ll play 3-10 or however many we feel like at the time. It’s very unique with gameplay you don’t typically see, highly strategic, and super easy to learn. Anyone can pick this game up and start playing immediately. You just learn more strategy and tricks the more you play.This is def a WIN purchase. 10/10 would buy again. If you’re a lover of family games like me, this is a must add to any collection. Highly recommend.

Soooo much fun. I love this whole brand, their games are beautiful and simple, but require a lot of strategy.

The board doesn’t sit flat/ wobbles

I played this game a number of years ago at my sisters house and liked it so much I wanted my own. Some games last too long or get old after playing them for a while. This does not. It is a nice addition to mix things up in your board game collection. After you think you can beat anyone at it, their strategy can have you rework your own strategy to win. It can be played with 4 people as well but I have not tried it that way yet.As far as the board and pieces themselves, they are made of wood. Solid stuff. Would be a great gift item for someone that likes strategy games but doesn't like to get too in-depth with something. Most games take maybe 15-20 minutes to play, depending on how quickly you make your next move. If someone has to think about all the options in a game like this for every move, might take longer.I am excited to try their other similiar games.

This is a fantastic and fun game. Super easy to learn but hard to master. My husband and I have played several times and it's never the same twice. We are constantly trying to outwit the other person to win. The game itself is made of wood and is beautifully made and looks fantastic. The game can only be played by 2 people or 4 people so keep that in mind if you have an odd number of people that might want to play. If you love strategy games such as chess you'll love this game. It can be played pretty quickly as well depending on how much time each person takes to make their moves - it is a turn based game. I definitely recommend.

I got this for my 8 y.o. and I to play together in an effort to keep introducing activities to balance video game activity. It took him a game or 2 to "get it", but once he did, he decided he absolutely loves it. To keep the peace, we let his 3.5 y.o. sister join us for a game, and she loves it too! Her activity adds a unique factor to the board (i.e. walls in places that make no sense in the moment, but greatly affect the progress on the game). Now our games with her are something we look forward to as well.It's quality materials and construction. Worth the $35-$40 range we fell into at time of purchase.No issues with receiving older copies of the game (as indicated on some other reviews), and everything showed up in perfect condition, although I can see that it would be very easy for this to get destroyed in transit because it's in an unprotected bag with no sort of bubble wrap or anything. I think we got lucky to be honest.
