Ave Lucifer!
Oh Lucifer! This is a brilliant book about Lucifer. It is a very scholarly work and while I had no trouble reading it, I did need to take some extra time to digest it. This is not a quick and easy read and it will definitely take some people way out of their comfort zone. For me it was just what I wanted, scholarly information about the Lightbringer without a Christian slant. I highly recommend this to those who would be unshackled and enlightened.

Good but...
Good. Nearly definitive. I have a few comments though. Primary one I'll share. What's up with the margins here? Save some paper by making these margins smaller, and combining with Praxis.

A Flash of Light on My Horizon
This was everything I expected and more. In college, I took more than a few Biblical Scholarship classes, and I have also studied the occult for almost two decades. So I was very much down for this trip. In this work, Grey has undertaken no less a task, then examination of the mythological genealogy of Lucifer. With an attendance to scholarship of Biblical and other mesopotamian texts, as well as the writings from the early Church Fathers, a vision emerges. A vision of rebellion, usurpation, and fall; but also of knowledge, freedom, and power. This is an excellent work that will be helpful both to serious practitioners and those of a more speculative or academic interest. Just when I think that no one is writer good modern occult literature, Peter Grey and Scarlet Imprint reignite my fire! Seriously, this book means a lot to me as a model of what's possible and as part of a bold statement suggesting new directions for practitioners. It certainly shook me from my Jungian sleep.I want to close by acknowledging that this can be a dense or difficult subject. Try not to be discouraged if at first you find the text difficult to follow, because you're unfamiliar with the source text. Everyone starts somewhere, take notes, look things up. Serious Occultism is a journey of research, experimentation, discovery, and yet more research. Persistence, dedication over time, and a continuing sense of wonder are our Shibboleth.

o lucifer thou son of the morning
Great book on the origins and myths of Lucifer. Its a scholarly work that does take some time to digest and read through. Take notes if you feel like it. But this book is well worth it. Great book for the scholar and the student of the Grimoires. I highly recommend this book.

Reading with great effort and concentration is a must!
I'm so sorry, maybe my English should be better, or maybe I miss something in this book, honestly, I tried to understand it...but this book is so dense with many infos (from Bible from ex.) and complicate (because text "jumping" all around) that is almost impossible to read. Maybe I'll give it a second try once...also I invite better experts for this theme to review properly this incredible "hard to understand" work for me in this moment. Otherwise, theme of the book is interesting and deserves exploration.
