🌟 Cultivate Your Dream Life in 3D!
Konohana and Bluebell villages were once great neighbors until a huge dispute erupted between them over FOOD! Yes, food. They were both certain that their cooking was the best. This bitter feud has divided the once-close towns, turning neighbors into enemies! As a new farmer to the area, it's up to you to choose which village to live in. Will it be Eastern-styled Konohana with its abundant fields of crops, or animal-friendly, European-styled Bluebell? Pick a home, build a thriving farm, and compete in a huge variety of festivals. Develop your skills enough, and you might even find a way to bring these two towns together once again!

Best game ever!
Hey I'm a huge Harvest moon fan and I can tell you this is by far...THE BEST HARVEST MOON GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED! It is really easy to just jump into. If you ever get stuck or have a question on what to do (because it can get confusing) just look it up and you will get a lot of answers that all work. I personally never had any freezing issues or glitches with it which I was afraid of after reading some of the reviews. And I think we all know that the 3D can make any game dizzy. I agree this game is not for everyone so here are some things you will find in this game:1. Easy to start your farm, and it doesn't matter what town you choose.2. Tons of holidays and birthdays so you are never bored3. Interesting stories and backgrounds for everyone you meet4. An amazing minigame that makes it easier to bond with animals5. So many things to make and earn as your farm expands6. Pets that make it soooo much easier to herd animals in and out of the farm7. I will admit it is kind of confusing at first to woo a spouse but it is so rewarding to finally wake up and see him/her standing with you when you're finally married (I married ash personally 😝)8. Lots to do and the prices are never so extremely expensive you go broke.9. Hidden characters to earn and find.10. Possibly the easiest most entertaining game ever made!I hope you consider buying this game because you will not be disappointed! It a great game for beginning harvest moon players too!

Pleasantly surprised
I first started playing Harvest Moon in 2000 with HM:64, and I was instantly hooked. The gameplay across the series is simple but addicting, and over time I've played many of the games with each new installment being as fun as the last. Before I bought HM:ToTT, I read many reviews, and I was aware that the game had lagging issues and was known to freeze after playing the petting mini-game. With this in mind, I decided to go ahead and purchase the game, and if the freezing became an issue, I could easily shelf the game and know that I had learned my lesson. However, after playing through two complete seasons, I am happy to report that the freezing has become a non-issue and lag is minimal for normal play. The characters are very nicely designed, the world is beautiful (with or without 3D), and most of all the game is FUN! For anyone looking to expand the HM universe or simply jumping into the series for the first time, HM:ToTT is a great place to start!

Get the 3DS version and just don't run the 3D
Well I read plenty of reviews that said it had freezing issues which I thought was quite the problem, but I felt that the issues were caused by running the 3D element. It was quite a bit cheaper than the DS version and it had the petting mini-game, so I went ahead and got the 3DS version, thinking that, either way I don't get 3D so why not spend less money?I was right! I've had it since last october and have not ONCE got a freezing issue and I even run the 3D for short periods during various festivals and events. As for the game itself...if you like Harvest Moon, your going to like this. It's a great little game and lots of fun. I love the addition of being able to change your outfit, the bachelors and bachelorettes are all very interesting, the alpacas are super cute, and the ability to focus on either plants or animals more means you get to do more of what you like.

Love this game!
I had this game before when I was younger and it's nostalgic being able to play it again. What I love most about this Harvest Moon game that I haven't come across in the others is handfishing. I don't know why, but I absolutely LOVE handfishing!

Great! But some copies have glitches.
Love this game! This is my first Harvest Moon game for a handheld, so I can't compare it to other DS games, but I have been a huge fan of the series since N64. The game is fun and it isn't as frustrating to me as it seems to be for a lot of other reviewers. It's kind of a hassle to get back and forth between the two towns, but it's not that bad. Also, it seems like it takes a really long time to get into the real game play. A lot of explanations. A lot of tutorial. But once you get past the first month, you should be pretty much set. I chose to live in Bluebell, and I'm pretty happy with the amount of crops I can harvest there. (Though I've always been more into the animal aspect of the game) So, I don't see a real downside to having to choose a town. Plus you can switch at the end of every month! The only thing that bothers me is that my game is slightly defective. I have experienced minor freezing when traveling on the mountain between towns. I have researched this, and apparently a LOT of the copies of this game are defective and have major glitches. My copy is not even messed up enough to cause me to replace it, but others have complained of glitches that really don't allow them to play the game the way it was intended. So if you notice problems with your game, I'd say return it and get another copy.Overall, I love the game! I play it every night for like an hour before I go to sleep :)

Great Game, Plenty of Possibilities
I love the Harvest Moon series, and so when I got my 2DS I decided to buy this as one of the first games I ever recieved. I purchased two copies, one for me and one for my husband. He doesn't find it as interesting because he really enjoys breeding crops (like in the gamecube or playstation versions with the tartan). This game does lack that, but there's exploring, and friendships, and marriage, and its easy to pick up and put down and play at my own pace.I'd recommend this game to anyone I know who would play it, or even try it. The only annoying thing is you can only save once a day, when you go to bed, but if you just put your device to sleep it will pause for you, and unless your device dies, you'll be able to save when you wake the device up.
