Took a bit of time, but totally worth the money and effort. Not all items have nickel and finding them is really hard. This product allowed me to ID what had nickel and what was safe to keep wearing. My rashes are already clearing up. Keep trying, this stuff works. Yes it does smell like ammonia but I just turned a fan on and kept testing. I finally found 4 pairs of earrings and one belt that were full of nickel. Super helpful, forever grateful.

It does what it's designed for -- detects nickel in metal. Easy to use. There's just very little of it which makes it a bit costly.

Professional delivery and in timely manner. To be completely frank I haven’t tested it yet. By the time I got it (which was super fast) I already knew I didn’t need it desperately. (I thought I was getting allergy to my necklace but it appeared to be something else). I will use it on new jewelry/fashion pieces as needed. Super useful for someone with severe nickel allergy.

This product is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! After being diagnosed with a Nickel allergy, I thought that there was nothing I could do to reduce my exposure. It worked perfectly, and a lot of the things in my home (faucets/doorknobs) that I thought were stainless steel actually contain nickel. I would recommend this product to anyone with a nickel allergy and have been talking about it to everyone i know. I finally have some hope!! If you’re looking for a sign on whether you need this product or not, you ABSOLUTELY DO!!

I am recently allergic to nickel & cobalt. This product was easy to use to check my jewelry for nickel. Just 2 drops on a q-tip & then rub on the jewelry. If the cotton swab turns pink then you know it has nickel in it. It does have a strong smell when you open the bottle so if you're sensitive wear a mask. I recommend this product.

The solution works. It confirmed the nickel properties in some of my belts. I would give it a 5 rating, but 1) the smell of the solution is strong and horrible; 2) it created a slight stinging effect on the eyes within a close distance; 3) the bottle does not allow one to squeeze a drop at the time. One definitely will not get 200+ tests from the bottle. I minimized the effect of issue 1 by testing it outside on my deck and eliminated issue 2 by wearing googles. The company should repackage the solution in an eye drop type bottle. Thus, one can squeeze one drop at time.

I tested everything I suspected had nickel in it around my house and to my surprise, the only thing that reacted were my coins. It's POSITIVE that dimes, quarters and nickels are not made of silver! LOL! They are made of nickel. So far, nothing else I come in contact with that I tested contains nickel. That's good, since I am very allergic to nickel. I got rid of all my costume jewelry so I can't test that. I'm assuming that it works since the reaction when I test dimes becomes very dark pink. On that, I would say that it works. I also have to remind myself to wash my hands every time I handle money, the dimes, nickels and quarters at least.
