Genuine Honda Crossbars - 2016 Pilot

Installed it myself and fits perfect, used with a Thule cargo carrier. I probably saved a couple hundred dollars rather than purchasing and having a dealer install. Note the installation requires a T-30 Torx driver which I purchased a bit for at Home Depot for a few dollars. Also, don't be an idiot like myself and install it in direct sunlight at 1 PM in the dead of summer; the top of the roof and these crossbars get very hot! I had to eventually bring out the kitchen hot pad gloves to finish the job.

This is a genuine Honda part that is much cheaper then buying off a dealer! Very easy to self install, and if you go on Honda Estore to check the part number for your specific pilot it’ll match up, unless they make changes to the newest model, it did for mine! Very pleased!

Installed these in about 30 minutes on my 2016 EX-L Pilot. Rather easy once the Roof Rack has been installed. You'll want to make sure you have the Genuine Honda Roof Rack-2016 Pilot installed (comes standard on the Touring and Elite models.I used the TEKTON 24320 1/4-Inch Drive Click Torque Wrench, 20-200 in.-lb. to make sure I had the proper torque for the bolts.By installing myself I saved a bunch off the dealers prices and scored by getting these bars cheaper than the dealer was asking for them.

These crossbars were easy to install and seem to do the job. However, I wish they were adjustable. They are in a fixed location and you cannot adjust the width between them. I suppose this is typical, but a design flaw in my opinion.They also begin to howl at about 38mph. I always know how fast I'm going when I start to hear the crossbars making their "ohhhhhhh" sound. It's not loud, but it's a low howl.All in all, I'm glad I got them.

Absolutely a great buy! Fit perfectly on my new 2016 Pilot Touring. Simple installation that took 20 minutes from the time I opened the box. Adds that sporty look to my Pilot at a cheaper cost than dealer installed.

It's crazy that the crossbars must be bought separately. Very un-Honda like for a part to be so NOT user friendly. The crossbars are NOT adjustable and ther is NO choice in their permanent placement. Wish I had my money back on the roof rails and the crossbars.

These were about as easy to install as you could get. You just need a torque wrench to install properly and a T-30 TORX bit. While it doesn't come with instructions, you can download them from estore.honda.com or directly get the pdf from [...]You probably don't even need the instructions, it's that easy, but the instructions tell you the torque wrench setting to use (which is 10 N.m or 7.4 lbf-ft). Also, the longer cross-bar goes up front and the shorter in the back... though that would become obvious as they wouldn't fit otherwise.The only negative is that it only holds up to 165lbs. With my Yakima Skybox 16 that already weighs about 60lbs, I'm limited to only 100lbs in it. Which should be fine most of the time.
