The canopy is hard to deal with if you don’t want to use it. It falls down in the water under the pillow. Very comfy

I don't know why people are complaining about the canopy. If you attach it properly, it stays in place just fine. This is a great float! Very sturdy and very comfortable. Minimal effort to inflate. The canopy is perfect for shading your head and face. Canopy removes and reattaches quickly and easily. Spring/inflatable construction makes off-season storage super convenient. I was afraid that the canopy would make it hard to get in and out of the float, but we just maneuver it so that the foot end is over one of the pool entrance steps, then step into the leg hole and just sit down or stand up. The canopy doesn't get in the way at all. Can't beat it for the price.

We purchased a different brand pool lounger with a canopy and liked it a lot. We wanted to get a second, but they were sold out. We have a SwimWays pool lounger that doesn't have the canopy - it is my favorite pool chair! I love the wide opening for the legs, the spring that keeps it in shape, the mesh covering and the comfortable reclined back. So it was great to see that SwimWays had the same lounger with the canopy! I purchased this without hesitation. Same great design for the lounger itself - super happy with that part. However, the one star reduction is for the canopy design. It does not stay upright. It needs a strap on each side in the front with connectors further forward and a strap in the back to connect it to the back. This would hold it in place and make it a 5 star plus item. We plan to modify ours so we can enjoy the benefits of the canopy.I'd like to reiterate - these are my favorite pool lounge chairs due to their size and comfort. We have purchased several of these and they last many years. Very pleased with the design of the chair itself. (Amazon ASIN B01B6QD1V6.) A simple change on the canopy connectors is all that is needed.

I am writing this review 19 July 2023 to say that the canopy design has been FIXED!! See attached pictures. They have overall made the canopy much sturdier and added a strap on each side that snaps and keeps the canopy forward. No more floppy canopy. So those considering it & reading the reviews about the floppy canopy have no fear! This is the perfect pool lounger for the Louisiana sun.

The raft piece is easy to get into, it was fine to blow up. The canopy needs some work. Even if you hook it up correctly it will not stay in place the way the photo describes. It constantly flops down into my face and so I've had to hold it up to keep the sun out of my eyes. At this point I feel like the canopy piece is pointless, which was the reason I purchased this item. I confirmed with customer service that it's not intended to stay in place, they confirmed that it's supposed to flop which makes no sense to me. It's a shame the canopy is not as effective as the photos make it out to be.

This product performed well at Lake Anna and Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia during our boating trips. They kept the air, were sturdy, and believe it or not the cup holder performs well. This is sturdy product that will last several seasons if you treat it right. I have 4 of them, 2 for me and my wife, and 2 more for guests. We tie a rope from the handles to the boat cleats and float off. The head rests are very comfortable and functional. The only part that did not work is the sun visor canopy. Its useless but nothing a hat did not resolve immediately. The canopy is too lite and flimsy so it will not stand up to even the slightest gust of wind.

I was so excited to get this and especially help with the sun, well the canopy does NOT stay up! So if your floating just remember you a gonna have to hold it us.

I really love the float, so relaxing to use and if sun gets to be too much you can use the awning!

Muy bueno y práctico. Si lo que necesitas es no asolearte pero quieres estar dentro del agua refrescándote, es la solución ideal. Me encantó

Excelente material, no se calienta con el sol y la malla que tiene en la parte inferior deja pasar ligeramente el agua asi que estas refrescandote al mismo tiempo. El toldito se mueve con el viento y no queda tan firme en algunas ocasiones y hay que irlo deteniendo con la mano.

Me hubiese gustado algo para anclarlo ya que cualquier mínima corriente me llevaba xD de resto bastante completo y excelente y sin fallas
