Work really well and are great for pre-tan exfoliation. Nice and sandpapery but also have a softer side on the back. Definitely have had less breakouts since using these- try the small orange one for the face

These are great for all body sponges. I can't understand why some gals are saying these are too rough for women. I love the exfoliation ability these have. I have used them for many many years and hope they continue to make them for many more. Fits on my reusable handle so I can scrub my back with ease as well as the rest of my body.

Like so many other reviewers, I have a long and storied history with Buf Puf, probably going back to when they were first introduced. As a young adult prone to acne at the time, they kept my acne in check better than any topical medication available back then. Over the years, they've kept my skin smooth and glowing. A few years back, the local retail supply had pretty much dried up even in the urban and urbane community where I reside. I believe they fell out of favor with the flood of professional microdermabrasion procedures and newer topical treatments, some of which I've tried. That said, I can honestly say there is no current product or procedure of which I'm aware that provides better results for dollar spent, and thankfully they are now readily available online. The Buf Body Scrub is the perfect solution for overall exfoliation with its dual surfaces. The white surface should be gentle enough for all but those with extremely sensitive skin, while the blue surface will tackle the rougher areas such as elbows, knees and feet. It may take a little time to determine the right amount of pressure to use for your skin type, but your face and body will look and feel much better for the effort. I just did some calculating and determined I've been using Buf Puf for over 40 years now. I think that qualifies me to speak to their quality and effectiveness.

This dual sided oversized super exfoliating sponge is wonderful! Is use it daily. These are amazing at giving you glowing and smooth skin! The texture at first will surprise you - really rough and scratchy. But after wetting and lathering up with your favorite soap it is heaven! It fits great in your palm. Smaller than a washcloth but much more effective. I use the rougher side on my feet, etc and the softer textured side for everywhere else. My only cons are that it is pricey and you need to replace it every couple of months. It starts out super thick and dwindles down to flat after time. But it's still so worth it. There is nothing really like these on the market. The texture, size and option to buy them in bulk stands out. And, respectfully, anyone who does not get clean using this sponge is simply doing it wrong! I will say I go through my soap or body wash faster because I do use more (work so nice with a natural black soap bar!! a rich creamy lather).

I have a dog and spend a lot of time playing in the dirt with her. I am usually covered in dust and mud on a daily basis from our trips to the park and this little miracle scrubs it all away beautifully plus leaves my skin amazingly soft. You'd never know I start my day tumbling in dirt and gravel! . I've tried other "scrubbies" and products but nothing comes close to the clean and smooth this little beauty gives me. I have a hard time finding this body puff in stores anymore so I'm thrilled to be able to get it here. I love that it can be tossed in the washer. The two sides are great so I can adjust my pressure as well as the side I use depending on where I'm scrubbing. I even use it on my face rather than having a separate face buff puff. This baby does a great job between my toes, behind ears, under arms, around my neck, shoulders, chest, hips, elbows, knees, arms, legs, feet and between my toes. If I left anything out, it's likely an oversight in typing since I use this as my one for all washing device. I don't feel like I can get clean enough without it. . I use natural hand made bar soap but have used commercial liquid body washes with it as well. It works great for whatever kind of cleanser you are using.

This body sponge is very effective, I have been using this body sponge since years ago. Value for money.

Having used the original tear shaped product for years I was very happy to find this available through Amazon US. The original was just white and used for the face, I was worried the new one would not be the same but it am pleased to say it is. This is about twice the overall size of the original and now has the addition of the blue section for the body. The white section for the face and neck works great, the blue section for the body is slightly more rough and for me is perfect for exfoliation without any pain or redness after. Things to note.. if the soap washes out of the sponge it will start to feel like its sticking or more rough on the skin. I just rub more on from the bar of soap or add more liquid soap, this seems like a normal expectation but an observation none the less. Over time the sponge does compress, but it does not seem to reduce the functionality. I find making sure the sponge is rinsed clean and allowed to dry after use slows this down, but again not really an issue. The sponge is about the size of a womans hand when open, so if your expecting a huge sponge to roll around its not for you. I find since you can only apply pressure with your open hand this is perfect and gives me good control for the body cleanse. I guess I should say the package did arrive in just one of amazons plastic envelope things, and a small amount of damage to one of the small boxes they come in was sustained. I actually expected mush worse from my post office handling. This was not a gift so should a care what condition a box is in when its for a sponge? Well clearly I don't. Hope this helps

Six Body Sponges as advertised. Perfect replacement BODY SPONGE for my "BUF-PUF BACK SCRUB" handle. In my opinion this is the best back and body scrubber ever. 👍 I have been using these sponges for over 30 years. 😘

Just right size for hand to enable great cleaning of body in shower. Dries well and quickly so can take it on holiday. Has two sides to that can do normal or extra scrub to give body good clean and uses less shower product to give good lather.

The texture of the sponge is great for daily use. I use it once a day to exfoliate my skin in the bath. Highly recommend!
