I honestly love this it’s long enough to get to my large jars and will be ordering a second one. Makes so much easier stirring the mixer and getting into the edges. I love that’s it’s wood!

We have been using the same old wooden spoons and spatulas for ages. They had grown discoloured and frayed and so we quit using them, and in the drawer they remained. We should’ve tossed them but never did, maybe out of sentimentality. Well, after making the effort to clean the kitchen utensil drawer and tossing out everything that wasn’t sparkling a little joy, the old wooden utensils made their way into the bin, unceremoniously, in spite of all the good they’ve done. It was now time to find some new replacements. The wife scoured the web and came across these strange wooden spoon/spatula contraptions. They looked well made by the pictures and the reviews were solid. We pulled the trigger, and after a couple days our parcel arrived. Upon inspection we could tell that the new utensils were in fact, quite well made. No chemical aroma, no splinters, and quite comfortable in the hand. Washed and dried, the new kitchen tools were at home in the drawer. A few days later it was time to give them a whirl. Fried rice was on the menu. The new wooden contraptions, with the odd, Pokémon sounding name, made short work of the task. Stirring, flipping, and mixing with ease, these newfangled wooden spatulas were up to the task. As we were plating our dinner we conversed over how handy these new utensils were and how we wish we’d had chucked the old wooden spoons and spatulas out sooner. Lesson learned. No regrets on this purchase. TL;DR - Buy them, now. Chuck out your old, stained wooden cooking utensils you philistine, they’re past their prime.

I am so happy with my new Spurtle!! I needed something of this size, shape & firmness for mixing my sourdough bread dough in the “feeding” process. This has turned out PERFECT! Good quality well made wooden utensils.These elongated spoon/scoops make cooking and serving a doddle.Slightly pricey, but worth it.
