Smooth taste

Surprised by it's flavor. Had a mint zing to it. Read a lot of good things about basil, including its ability to facilitate the passing of kidney stones (does take about 6 months, though). The only minus and reason for the 4 star rating is its cost. The recommended dose is 2 fl.oz and it's only a 16 oz bottle. Only 8 servings. Equals $2 a serving (cheaper than medical intervention for a kidney stone, but still very pricey @ $360 for a six month regimen or $60 a month used as a dietary supplement). I'll opt to eating basil more and creating homemade juice. Less concentration probably, but beneficial none the less.

I was looking for good holy basil juice for a very long time..and this is the best one I ever used.

This product neither smelled like or tasted like basil. I returned it immediately and have heard nothing since from them.

I have been drinking Tulsi tea for a few months now and have greatly enjoyed the benefits. I just came across this juice today in an Indian grocery store. Contrary to the only other review at this time, it smells exactly like tulsi, aka holy basil (which is quite different than "regular" basil) and it both smells and tastes heavenly. I would describe the taste as similar to spearmint, with a "bite" to it.I love it so much I came to Amazon searching to purchase the juice in bulk. Unfortunatley, I only see this single bottle, and one other listing and they are both more than twice the price I paid at the store today. Although, I think I got quite a deal. I'll be checking back periodically.
