Good quality, easy to operate, and the shutdown timer is great.If you use it for drying 3D filemanets, cut the meshe of the 4 stages and it will accommodate 2 spools. Extra stages are available but I didn't need them. I also used super glue to glue together the bottom and the 4 stages for easier handling.

Works very well for light home use. The temp and timer are very easy to set and it turns off at 0. Overall this is a nice little machine and makes some great jerky if you're looking for a light use dehydrator this is the one for you.

DON'T HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIECE WITH OTHER BRANDS, DON'T NEED IT. I STILL HAVE MY FIRST NESCO AND IT WORKS JUST GREAT. I SIMETIMES FALL ASLEEP AKA RUIN A BATCH OF JERKY, NOT WITH THIS NEW ONE. IT IS DIGITAL AND THE BUILT IN TIMER I NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT RUINING ANOTHER BATCH AGAIN.TALK IS CHEAP, I KNOW. BUY BUT IT AND YOU WANT NEED OR WANT ANYTHING ELSEupsate 12.02.19still love it. will buy another if this should go bad, highly unlikely i use this one at least once a week. nesco really goes all out to build a great dehdrator. if you invest all yout time getting a batch of meat ready to dehydrate, you want to make sure you can count on it to be right, well this is only one of the few things i can depend on.i still say buy onr, you will not be un-happy.

I do not like having a timer. Almost everything I dehydrate takes more than 24 hours to dry. I thought I would like the lack of the raised area at the center of the trays, but I found too many of my peppers and grapes fell down the center to the bottom of the dehydrator.

So far, I'm loving it! I have only dried apple bananas a few times, but they came out perfect each time (and took less than what the instructions said). I made the dog treats that were in the enclosed recipe book as well, and the dogs went CRAZY for them! Basically, I am just going to use this for drying local tropical fruits, making dog treats and probably trying to make some jerky. But for ease of use and clean up, I highly recommend this dehydrator. It has a digital timer on it, as well as a temperature control. The trays are easy to clean. The fan is at the top, so there is no need to worry about anything dripping down.

Product DOA and now I have 3 pounds of marinated jerky meat and NO dehydrator. I'm starting to second guess the hassle of seeking out American made products such as nesco brand.

I really like that it is digital so you can set it for x hours and walk away. However , I think something is wrong with my unit. It took 40 hours at 90F (nesco recommend temp) to dry fresh picked rosemary from my garden and even after all that time some sprigs still weren't dry enough to chop up.

So far this works great. made jerky with both roasts and ground beef. dried spinach, garlic and peppers for home made seasoning. Only tried a couple fruits but apples and bananas were great too. I'm happy so far. Its great to be able to set the digital timer and just leave it for the day.

He deshidratado carne, fruta, hojas... de todo; calidad suprema, super sencillo de usar, nada ruidoso (aunque si hace un ruido al trabajar), tiene pocas rejillas pero si eres una persona soltera no necesitas nada más.
