My floor drain (with 60 year old cast iron pipes) would often back up with accumulated lint from my washer. These have completely solved that issue. I use two screens at once, one inside the other, and it traps a surprising amount of lint. These also help reduce micro-plastics getting into our servers and waterways. Great idea, works well.

I needed an overflow due to a clogged pipe caused by decades of washer lint accumulation to learn about these.A 1k$ plumber visit later, I've installed these super easily and already see what it traps. You'll never catch me not having one anymore!

We have caged pets and wash fleece bedding in a small washing machine, but noticed lots of fur in the filters. We added this to the end of the drain hose and it is CRAZY how much fur and hay this catches even after we have shaken/swept the items prior to wash.These work well and keep tons of drain blocking debris from clogging up our drain.Would recommend to anyone!

Did experiment as shown. Pic1: Pushed bottle in to open filter as it seemed smaller than other brand. Pic pq2: put it inside older brand because I had to double up older ones. 3: you can see it filtered and didn't fill up outer one! Now trying a single one. Very. Happy. 😍
