This is an excellent trimmer which I've used many times to trim my dog's thick, fast-growing hair to keep him cool in the warm summer months. I bought this a year and a half ago, and it's still working like new. It comes with many combs to suit your dog's need - I use the 6 mm one for my dog. The battery lasts long (4-5 uses for my dog), and recharges quickly via a USB cable. It is quiet and my dog has never been bothered by it. I highly recommend this product!

I purchased this clipper set late October 2023. My cockapoo was a puppy then. I own Andis clippers I used for my large standard poodle but wanted something smaller/quieter for this new little girl. Her coat has developed more like a poodle so trimming curly is a little different. Some tangles & small matts. I keep her hair short. This trimmer works great! For over a year now I’ve used them about every 6 weeks for full trims & in between for face and feet. Poodle hair grows fast & hers does. I live in Colorado mountains with a large yard. She gets all types of weather & gets wet & dirty. Pine sap sometimes in paws. Loves to run & play. This trimmer has been really great. Easy to use holds charge well. I really appreciate how it doesn’t over heat & being cordless. It’s durable & combs work very well. Very lite. I’ve had no issues.Sadly now the blade is getting dull & I have to replace the whole device. Price is still great even at $7 more It’s been so handy I don’t know if I want to switch to my Andis clippers [used them 16 years] with the long cord. Andis are excellent too & easy to replace blade. I may spring for high cost of cordless.😀I’m contacting seller to purchase just the device as I don’t need whole kit.

Bought these to give my Pomski a haircut, and the battery life is perfect for the job. Super sharp clippers which made the haircut a breeze. Worked better than expected and seems very durable. The size was perfect for someone with larger hands which made it easy to use.

This was a pleasant surprise. It’s rechargeable and lasted the whole trimming of my Pomeranian. It was her first time with my home use for grooming, which is much more economical than the $200. I was paying to have my dog done. I appreciate the groomer, but I can’t afford them. This was easily used because it’s rechargeable. It has six guard measurements and adjustable razor depth, which was quite helpful. The best thing about this it is so silent or has a low volume. My dog was fine with the sound much more so than my plug-in razor that has no variable speeds. It takes a little time to learn how to use it and adjust the speed to meet your needs and it comes with a comb scissors, a cleaning brush and a charging cord Charger it before you use it. And use the comb first if you have a long haired dog that way you’ll not run into mats. Fit my hand well. Go slowly it is not a speed show when you’re clipping your animal.

I got these clippers about 2 years ago. Right off the bat I noticed that the on off switch was quirky sometimes needing several tries to turn off or on. Also the readout would only come on momentarily when plugging in the charger. I decided to keep, however because those issues not withstanding, it was a good tool. The first year passed and I would use 3 or 4 times to shave my shaggy dog till she overgrew again. I would routinely charge prior to the one hour job. This year I noticed the charge would only last a half hour, requiring me to recharge to finish her. The last time I used it, it lasted about 10 minutes. It took me 7 days to get her finished. I've been watching the charge over the last few months and it doesn't stay charged, dying at about the 5 minute mark. Once I charged; switched on and this time the charge readout appeared and stay on while running. You could watch the % drop every few seconds and it got to zero just in a few minutes. I'm gonna try to contact the seller and see if they're maybe good guys and can provide a new better replacement battery. If they do I will revise this review. If not I do not recommend Holdog. It's a rechargeable battery and was not abused nor used too much. I'm also wondering if this was a return or refurb that they slipped in. **** I heard back within a few hours. They apologized and asked if they could replace. I agreed. They did say it might take a little bit, but I an impressed with their customer service. I will update when I receive the replacement. This make me very happy as this, minus the few problems is the best clippers I've ever owned and it's quiet and doesn't scare my dog. Kudo to Holdog Sevice Team. Top stars for immediate response. UPDATE. True to their word. I received a brand new one and it works perfectly. This is the kind of company I highly recommend. They were responsive and fulfill their promise. They get a 5 star PLUS review. These are the BEST clippers I've ever owned. I give their customer service 5 stars + as well. I am totally amazed at how quick and painlessly they responded. These are absolutely the perfect pet grooming clippers! The easy rechargeable designs allow you to trim your pets anywhere without being restricted with a cord. It comes with many attachment options and the clippers are quiet and don’t scare my papillon. They trim my dog’s hair with ease.
