i ordered the 902 hp cartridges. The first set didn’t work due to hp firmware blocking the cartridges to work. I called customer service. They answered their phone right away and walked me through to downgrade the firmware. Unfortunately that didn’t work. Then they sent me a replacement and got it in two days. It worked and they assured me that they changed all cartridges! I am so happy with this company and my printer works fine! I’ll be for ever customer! Thank you so much! Also I want to mention that I usually don’t write reviews but I had to do it this time! Thank you so much!

Installing this product produced an HP warning that the cartridges were not compatible. The manufacturer had a work around I could use but I didn't want to use that for concern it would void my warranty. Even though it had been around months since I ordered the product they understood my situation and provided me a refund. THIS is the kind of company I want to do business with again and again. They were professional, courteous, and timely in their responses. I wish the product had worked for me.

I ordered a 902XL ink cartridges for my printer and it did not work . I reached out online chat and spoke with Alyssa and she helped walked me through trouble shooting . It still didn't work so she sent me new cartridges and they worked perfectly. Good customer service and they quickly reply if you have any issues

I want to share my experience with this product because I’m more than happy with the printing’s quality, I just had an issue with the first time cartridge installation because my printer’s firmware version was updated recently but I contacted costumer support and in less than two minutes I had a representative helping me out her name is Alyssa and she guided me through the process to resolve this problem, finally I got my printer running smoothly and excellent printing quality and at the same time, why not? Saving a lot of money compare with the original HP cartridges which are really expensive and no big difference in print quality.

Use to pay $80.00+ for the same thing. This works just as good but the only thing up can’t update printer bc it’s not compatible with computer . Each printer company wants you to only use their ink. That is bs. This is half the price. Just don’t update

Let me start off by saying I don't typically write reviews for Amazon products, even though I do the majority of my shopping on here. BUT these ink cartridges are a GAME CHANGER!My HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 ran out of ink the other day, so I went to Office Depot to get new cartridges, only to realize HP branded ink was $140-190 for what I needed...which is insane. That's almost what I paid for the printer itself. Instead, I paid $96 for Office Depot branded cartridges- 902XL in black, regular 902 in each of the 3 colors. Well apparently HP blocked the ability to use "aftermarket" cartridges, which made the Office Depot brand COMPLETELY bricked and unusable.Long story short, I stumbled across these ink cartridges and they not only worked PERFECTLY with the HP printer even though they're "aftermarket", but they also cost half what the Office Depot brand cost me, AND and had an extra XL black ink cartridge, AND all the colored inks were XL's instead of the regulars. So. Freaking. Nice!Moral of the story- buy these ink cartridges to save a lot of money, get more ink at a better quality, and stick it to HP who's trying to force you to only use their overpriced name brand ink.

first installed ink and printer would not recognize (non hp chip). I contacted smart ink and they helped me get the ink working. printer is now fully functioning with this cheaper ink. thank you Kevin @ smart ink for your help.

I had the cartridges rejected first time in my officejet 6978. I then just installed one and it was accepted, installed the rest of the cartridges and they were accepted. I also shut the printer off once. I am very satisfied with Smart Ink Cartridges, would purchase again, quality is excellent and far cheaper than HP cartridges. Thanks to Alexa for helping me through this problem. Aylssa helped me with the second set of cartridges and they are all working well. Thanks again to both of you. Cartridges are great, working well.

Experienced an issue with black cartridge not printing. Reached out through chat and within minutes of troubleshooting, new cartridges are being shipped via expedited shipping.Great service!

I purchased a set of cartridges in August 2023. Today (July 2024) I tried to install these, and my printer refused to accept them. I went on the Smart Ink website, had a short chat with Valerie, and she offered to send me replacements. These should arrive in couple of days, then I will know if they work. I will update this review then.Update: Indeed, the replacements arrived in two days, as promised. They work fine. Great product, and even better service. Thank you.

Overall quite happy with the cartridges - good colours, long lasting. I did run into some challenges with one of the cartridges and reached out for support via live chat. After some lengthy, guided troubleshooting I was offered a replacement cartridge. Valerie and team were very helpful in ensuring I received a replacement as quickly as possible. The replacement is working 100% and I'm back to printing without challenges. I will certainly continue as a customer.

I ordered a 5-pack from Smart Ink as I've done many times before but for some reason the cyan wouldn't work with this order. I contacted them and they had a new set of color xl902 delivered to me within a couple of days.I've always had good results with the ink and service from Smart Ink and I will continue to buy my ink from them vs other suppliersExcellent!
