Great warranty on a good product.
I have been using "pocket" hoses for years. The "as seen on TV" one have improved, but they are still lacking. They've never lasted more than a summer, or two. I consider them disposable and their convenience is the only reason I continue to purchase them (easy to store, light to drag around, can be put away by my children, etc) Though backed by a warranty, the "as seen on TV" models are never actually backed by a warranty. There are always a bunch of hoops to jump through - if you can even find the proper 800 number to call. Just Google to learn more about all the drama. All that being said, these hoses by jFSG are NOT the same as the "as seen on TV" models. The canvas cover is thicker, the rubber tubing inside is also higher quality. Brass fittings vs. plastic. Overall, the quality is apparent when you put the two hoses side by side. The real difference, however, is the warranty. JFSG is AMAZING. I am so glad I purchased from them. These hoses have a FOREVER warranty, and I believe that as long as the company is in business they will back that warranty. I received a defective hose (or my kids somehow managed to break it immediately) Regardless, I contacted the company. I had a response within 12 hours. They refunded the cost of the hose and sent me a new hose for FREE. I will continue to buy all my pocket hoses from JFSG and will likely replace all my standard old hoses next summer. This is a good company, that is easy to work with and backs their products. VERY PLEASED.

Good quality flexible hose, very handy to use
I concur with everything "christine seaholtz" said in her review of this product. I've been told that there may have been some quality issues with earlier versions of this hose, but in my use so far it has performed flawlessly. You don't realize what a hassle a standard hose is until you use one of these! When turned off the length of the hose is just over 20 feet; when you turn it on it expands to its full 60 foot length. As another reviewer noted, the hose is "self-draining" as well, as it constricts to its 20 foot length again when you turn it off.Things I love about this hose:- very compact storage, and FAR easier to coil up and put away than a normal hose- virtually impossible to kink- very light, much easier to move around- really like that it came with a shut-off valve, it's plastic but works just fineDownsides to this hose? Possibly that when you turn it on and water is flowing through it, it has a tendency to shrink back to its collapsed length, as it uses the internal water pressure to expand. This is not a problem for my use case of watering flowers or washing the car; however, if you truly need the entire length of the hose as you're using it, or are putting several hoses end-to-end to go a distance, this is not the best hose for you. It will continually be trying to constrict itself and that could be frustrating.All-in-all very satisfied with my purchase, albeit with compensation for this unbiased review. Will update review in the future if my experience with this product changes.

Underwhelming Performance
I've had this hose for about a month and a half. It's worked well, felt sturdier than the other flexible hose we've used, and I loved watering my garden with it. We'd followed directions and never left it in the sun, always thoroughly drained it before storing, and were gentle with it because we wanted it to last longer than the last hose we had, which sucked.Unfortunately this morning, a small leak appeared near the brass fitting and about 3 seconds after I noticed the leak, the whole thing ruptured. The brass fitting came off and water shot everywhere and started pouring from the seam of the hose. It was disappointing. I know the company has a money-back guarantee but I can't find where to access their information so I can contact them. In the days, I loved it. But this development is a letdown.***Edit: Within a day of posting my review, a rep from the company contacted me, apologized for my experience, refunded my money plus an additional $10, and sent me a new hose. It's a pleasure to work with a company that pays such close attention to its customers' feedback.****

Very flimsy hose attachments. Came off the first time I used it.
I bought one about a month ago and it has worked. I bought a second one which arrived yesterday. I hooked it up and on my second use the attachment at the end on the hose separated from the hose and water sprayed everywhere. I see now that it is a very flimsy attachment and needs some kind of hose clamp to connect it to the hose. I will keep the first one but am guessing that I will have the some problem sometime probable sooner than later. I will most likely try to fix it with a hose clamp. I like the hose but both endattachments need to be strenghtened. Just a few days after this review I received two replacement 50 with sprayer attachments. The brass hose ends were far better and work well. Am satisfied now. No charge for replacements. It has been a year since I received the replacement hoses. One started leaking at the point of hose entry into the brass fitting. I contacted jfsg since they advertised a lifetime guarantee. They answered within a couple of hours. They are sending a replacement hose and refunding my money. Great service, if I do receive the hose.
