Philips Kitchen Appliances, Black Philips HD9980/25 Airfryer Variety Basket, silver

Just received this and love the design - Philips should make this the default basket that comes with the Airfryer! So much easier to clean, and with the top plate I'm not worried about splatter on the element now. The only issue I have with this item is that it was described as being black only, no mention of the silver handle. I purchased this one rather than the other on Amazon described as black and silver, because I have a red Airfryer with a black handle. The silver handle of this one looks odd in my Airfryer so I've still got the old basket in there when not in use. I'm now wondering if I can somehow switch the handles. Hope this helps anyone reading this - definitely the basket is worth buying, but be aware the handle is silver, not black.

This replacement basket is so much easier to clean than the one that came with my airfryer. It does have the nonstick honeycomb bottom that is removable and easy to clean. I also like to use the splatter screen to prevent grime from accumulating up inside the air fryer top portion.

I received this today, 7 March, 2017... The handle on this item was silver and the bottom grate was mesh, not honeycomb as in the photos. I immediately requested a return and will be sending it out this Friday, 10 March, 2017 as my local UPS store is a distance from me. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I wanted the honeycomb bottom item!

This model /25 has the silver/black handle. Look for HD9980/20 for the all black handle.This one does come with the newer honeycomb basket bottom.

No honeycomb bottom and the handle is silver. It's still an upgrade from the original basket included with the Phillips Airfryer, but I was expecting much more given the price.

Nice addition to my Philips Air Fryer. Having the screen be removable makes for easier cleaning.The top is good for cooking popcorn or preventing any light food from flying out.Plus if you cook two things, you can keep it in basket to keep it hot.

I love this basket! Mine came just as it’s pictured. The honeycomb bottom is so much better than what comes with the Phillips Air Fryer.
