Garbage died in less than two years
Edit:Monitor completely burned out and turned pink before shutting off permanently. I’ve used it for two years now and am devastated it only lasted that long. I will never spend a dollar on sceptre products again after a $400 can’t make it two years.I came back to buy another monitor of the same kind and saw the other review saying how he couldn't get the full bpc at 144hz but I was able to get full rgb out of the box at 10 and 8 bpc leaving me to believe he just got a bad unit or a hardware problem on his side. The only setting I had to change really was the brightness/gamma.This monitor is literally in a league of its own in terms of resolution, ips display, hz speed, and in the ultra wide category. There isn’t a monitor on here that meets those specs under $1000 that I’ve seen and this is $400 while writing this and seemed to be the first launch of these displays on Amazon for sceptre. It’s truly amazing and one of, if not the first of its quality to be this low in price. That being said, the one and only con, was the packaging. The outside was beat up but that’s the price for anything traveling and usually on UPS’s part. But the monitor itself had this white powdery substance in the packaging and around the back of the monitor with some greasy fingerprints immediately planting the seed of “refurbished”(knowing full well it was new). But after turning it on and playing new world for 12 straight hours on this miracle of a monitor I could care less about some powder lol, but that is just a minor gripe that I also noticed the only other person who reviewed the monitor thus far mentioned as well. The stand is also extremely quality so far in terms of range of motion; EXCEPPPPT the cable management holder is made of a flimsy plastic thats glued onto the back of the mount but is very minor.I’m a big fan of sceptre and have only used them for the past five years so take what you will from my review. My picture shows the new 34’ under my 27’ 1080p curved sceptre monitor as well for references.Ps. The light on the back and how you can change it, although minor, is sorta understated when buying this and was a nice surprise when setting it up to see the customization.

This is the stuff you see in sci-fi movies and wish you could have for yourself.
First off I must say that this thing is impressive. Not only in size but in power and quality as well.Second, the price tag is what I am most fond of.How many products like this cost LESS than half a grand? Not many, that's what.Onward to the specifics: It has a clear picture and is very wide at that. Whether you intend to do work at home or just sit back, relax and start gaming, it's good for it all. Though I will say, this thing is B-R-I-G-H-T.After using it for a while I got up to get myself a drink and realized that it illuminates the ENTIRE room. One might even say that if configured correctly that it could double as an X-ray machine, so I don't recommend setting it up in the bedroom if you plan to use it while your significant other is trying to sleep.Thankfully, there is a blue-light setting to help one ease eye strain if long hours in front of the screen (especially in the dark) are either highly likely or just straight-up unavoidable, so there's that. This is just after a few hours of use immediately after putting it together though so I can't speak to its longevity.Another thing that I found interesting is that rather than packing an HDMI cable, it comes with a DisplayPort cable but has two ports for HDMI as well as a jack for headphones so I should say it would be pretty versatile. The cords (including power) are all the perfect length as I have a good surge protector (power strip) or two within very short range and have plenty of room if I wish to adjust.All-in-all, I can't see anything beating the Sceptre because it's cheap, effective, generously-sized and appears to be great quality.

Awesome Product, BUT REMEMBER…
This monitor is an awesome product. It looks great and it’s very large 34 inches. The clarity is very clear and it has pretty good audio, which I believe separates it from the rest given inexperience cost. BUT, be advised, you may have to go into your settings and make adjustments to increase the Hz so that the the picture will use all of the screen. I initially thought there was an error because the display wasn’t using the full screen, but once I made the adjustments to Hz, the display area changed allowing for full use of the screen size edge to edge..

Great monitor for the price!
This is a great monitor for the price point. 100hz gaming is fantastic, as advertised, though you may need to purchase a separate DisplayPort cable for 100hz (or in my case, a mini-Displayport to Displayport cable). The HDMI output is only 85. Last time I checked HDMI 2.0 does support 100Hz, so I'm not sure why this option was only available via DisplayPort. You are supposed to pop a dust cover panel off of the back PRIOR to plugging in the power cable and HDMI/displayport cables. Don't make the same mistake I did and try to plug stuff in with the panel still installed. It will frustrate you heavily. The photos here on Amazon show the monitor with the panel already removed, so I expect you are supposed to keep it off for ease of access, but it can be placed back on.The curve is just aggressive enough and games look fantastic. The text is a little blurry otherwise but mostly fixed with ClearType. If you want clearer text on a monitor with similar specs you will likely need to shell out an additional $300 for the upgrade to 1440p. For the price point, this monitor is great! There are even built in speakers which you can use in a pinch. They aren't super great, but I mean...they are monitor speakers, what do you expect?Overall, I'm not disappointed with this monitor. If you're looking for a superior gaming experience, look no further!
