Renew Life Ultimate Flora Colon Care Probiotic 80 Billion (formerly Critical Colon), 60 Count

An excellent product which has truly helped support my digestive system. Have been using it for a few years and feel very good. The only negative thing I can say is that it is expensive, and I feel fortunate to be able to afford it.

I have had IBS-C since I was 17 (I am 27 now). Vicious cycle of constipation, followed by my system emptying out every five days or so (sorry for the TMI). I tried fiber, drinking more water, exercise and these were all temporary fixes...my stomach would always revert back to its old habits. It eventually got to a point where I was afraid to leave my house for anything other than work because I was constantly worried that today would be the day that I would get an attack. My friend recommended this to me one day, saying that it worked wonders for her and she doesn't even have any sort of bowel disorder. I was obviously skeptical and tried it for about a week and didn't really see any results; in fact, I felt MORE backed up at first, but I didn't feel any worse either so I decided to stick with it. It's been about two months now and I have about one BM a day now (sometimes I go a day without one, but that's such an improvement over how I used to be)! I avoid my trigger foods, drink about 7-8 bottles of water a day and make all my meals at home and this definitely helps I think. I also allow myself to eat out about once a week or so, but again, avoiding my trigger foods. This probiotic has definitely changed my life in more ways than one and I find myself wanting to venture out and see my family and friends again. If you are not sure about this product or if it is right for you, just give it a try!

I am going to write the same review for the 'ReNew Life - Ultimate Flora Advanced Immunity' and the 'ReNew Life - Ultimate Flora Critical Colon' because I started taking them at the same time. The reason I decided to try these two in particular was because I had recently read an article on bacterial imbalances and stinky armpits (there is a better way to state that, but honestly, that's just the simplest and most honest way!) and I wanted to get multiple strains of Probiotics. I have used many deodorants and/or antiperspirants over the years and it was the same story. At the end of the day, or even after I just got home from work, I would need to reapply so I didn't smell. I tried to convert to all natural and even homemade deodorants to allow my armpits to "reboot", but this didn't work either. So, when I read the article I decided it was worth a try. I started them both on the same day and after about a week, I woke up in the morning and realized that I didn't smell. I half-jokingly requested that my wife join in the celebration by confirming my self-diagnosis...however, the look that she shot me made it clear it was a bad suggestion. :) Either way, now after less than three weeks I can actually go two days on one application of deodorant. Pretty cool. I also have Celiac, and I know that Probiotics are helpful for freaks like us. My gut feels better already, but I'm not ready to say that these are definitely the reason for that...however, the armpit thing I am 100% confident in.

I am OBSESSED with this probiotic... pretty much addicted to it! I don't feel the same without it. Amazing for the gut and guaranteed to help with elimination. I take it before bed and 95% success in the morning! The first time I purchased this product was at Whole Foods about a year ago. I tend to stock up when I find it on sale (recently found while traveling at Pharmaca in NM). This product is meant to be refrigerated and I am told it is compromised if not refrigerated. When I ordered it a few days ago on Amazon, I assumed it would arrive with a cold pack, but it did not, and I could even feel the warmth of having been sitting in the UPS truck. This makes me question as well, if it came from a refrigerated facility. It's too soon to tell if I feel it is not as effective, but unfortunately won't be buying again from Amazon unless I am guaranteed it's been refrigerated and will be shipped properly to maintain its integrity. It's a premium product and I expect it to be treated as such!

I originally bought this to deal with bloating and it worked well but what has amazed me is how it has dealt with my dental problems. I have used it successfully to treat swollen, painful gum infections. It sounds crazy but it's true. I used to get them a few times a year and when I did, I would take double doses of this for a few days and it would resolve. Now I take one pill a day and have not had a single problem in 9 months! I have no idea why this is working so well..I am just beyond grateful that it is. I absolutely would not be without it. It's pricey for me as I am on a limited income but it is worth every penny. Since it seems to be working for so many people for so many different health issues, obviously it is affecting each of us very uniquely. I would strongly urge anyone with a health issue to at least try it. Something in it makes a huge difference!
