Experience helps.
Even experienced Ugears builders will find this model a challenge. This is quite the build, so I would not recommend this one for your first build (no offense). FYI, at one point later in the build the instructions fall out of sequence. Also, make sure the rubber band tension on the D-N-R lever is looser than recommended. My only complaints. It all works in the end though, a Coke can fits fine. Not usually a fan of rubber band drive, but this one was ok. Figuring out the all of the Tanker’s drive options is no picnic. Lots of spare parts, even shows how to replace worn/broken bands. I really enjoyed this one. Well worth the money.

Challenging
Challenging, it's called a puzzle for a reason. You have to rely on intuition and wiles in conjunction with the instructions. Very cleverly engineered. The photos are a nice plus. The dashed lines indicating where the parts need to be placed can be confusing and lost within the illustrations.Overall a very good model with ample detail. Be aware that some of the steps on pages 55 thru 57 are in the wrong sequence for construction. Skip ahead as you go to sort out the proper order from these 3 pages. Very well done UGears!.

Although this has been brilliant to do my husband found a few of the instructions were not as clear as most of the other Ugears models he has done.
