Ballpoint Art: Complexity from Simplicity

Ballpoint Art is a beautiful coffee table book. It highlights the work of several ballpoint pen artists around the world. Some of the artists do use computers as well or other types of pen to add to their work, but they are primarily ballpoint pen artists. There are a few detailed interviews of artists at the beginning of the book (maybe 5 interviews) and then the rest are more highlights on the artists. It's a great book to find new artists you may not be familiar with, many of whom are on instagram. It's also a great book for inspiration and to be able to see what can be done with the humble ball point pen. Though the interviews do give some good technique tips, I would not say this is a good book for learning how to use the pen. It's definitely more of a way to get inspired and find artists to research.
