A really nice easy to use arc lighter. Comes with a detachable lanyard which includes a whistle and USB charging cable. Charges easily and has a blue LED light which lights while it charges and goes out when fully charged. Outer case has a spring loaded lid with a pivoting lock latch to keep lid closed and prevent accidental opening if cover release button is pushed. With lid closed lighter is water resistant. This lighter feature dual arcs with contacts on the top making it easier to light cigarettes and other items than those with arcs between posts etc. It's very easy to ignite with a light push on the igniter button. Lanyard and whistle are handy if lighter is used for a camping / hiking kit. All in all a very nice lighter.

I keep it in the truck, for a just in case lighter. For small things it would be good however I got it out when I need my cigar lit and it had trouble lighting. It has next to nothing for a flame so you have to be really close to whatever your trying to light up. Easy to use but wouldn't use it as an everyday lighter.

i purchased this to use for igniting a pocket warmer, didnt want a flame which can damage the burner. this works great easy to use, no flame, lights the burner quickly and holds a great charge....

Got this to go in my Bug Out Bag. Of course I didn't want to be in an emergency or survival situation and find out it didn't work. So, I "tested" it. After charging it fully, I submerged it in water for a couple of minutes. I then took it out and tried it. It worked! Hooray! I like that it has the little latch to keep it closed tightly and prevents accidental ignition. A lanyard attaches so it can be hung on your backpack or belt loop for quick or repeated use. For the price and it being waterproof, this lighter is perfect for your own Bug Out Bag, camping, hiking, or even everyday use.

I was hoping to put this to use as part of my camping gear, unfortunately it's not the answer. The lid doesn't flip back far enough to allow you to easily light objects, making the process very awkward. There also seems to be a time-out if you hold the button down pass 15 second or so, where you'll have to relight the coils. For many it may not be a big deal, but I also suspect that the coils are slightly under powered, which meant that length of applied flame was extra important. Unfortunately this is getting replaces by good old matches.

This lighter arrived very fast from the vender, and was quick and easy to charge and set up for first use. Simple to use, great spark and great for basic use.

I really like this lighter, as its not only is it easy to use, and works in all conditions, even wind, but is very safe too. As it doesn't contain flammable liquid i feel safe leaving it in my car. I live in a very hot climate 50 degs Centigrade and many lighters which are left in vehicles explode due to the heat which can reach 70 to 80 degrees (inside the vehicle). In some cases these explosions result in a fire which destroys the car and poses danger to others. The worst than can happen with this lighter is the heat may damage it, but highly unlikely it will do anything worse.
