This soap has a really intense aroma, it even fills up the bathroom with the scent of fresh-picked roses! It lathers nicely and leaves my hands feeling clean but not dry. I also purchased the shower gel but I haven't tried it yet. If it's anything like the soap I know I'll love it. I'm here to buy another bar of the Rose de Mai soap and maybe try the balm or lotion which will pair nicely with my new bottle of L'Ombre Dans L'Eau by Diptyque.

Although the ingredients list looks complicated, most of what is listed consists of natural oil derivatives that are of, at most, low concern (safe to eat). There are no parabens or paraffins or other known bad actors. The one ingredient that gives me pause is "parfum" or fragrance. It's kind of like the "natural and artificial flavors" of skin care. What is it? We don't know. Could be anything.Other than that, I really love this lotion. Rose de Mai is one of my all time favorite scents, and the lotion softens without plumping you up or pulling moisture from elsewhere in your body. It soaks right in and doesn't leave behind a strong fragrance, just a hint of roses. It costs quite a bit more than a regular drugstore lotion, but it's really really nice.

While I like this soap very much, I am disappointed in the smaller size and increased price. I used to buy this 3 years ago from our local pharmacy, the normal size bar was $3.99, and online it was as much as $4.99. In the meantime I started using other soaps, but decided to use this one again. I noticed in the description they say there have been "small changes in weight and size", presumably to help the environment, though I suspect it has more to do with increased profits. So now it's $6.99 for a smaller size bar. The new rectangle shape is awkward and not as easy to lather up, it's as if they cut away an inch from it length wise. This is still a very good soap, it has a great scent and is good for sensitive skin. It looks though like they are marketing it more as a luxury soap now, I guess to justify the price increase. There are other fine soaps out there that cost less, I will go for those now instead.

The label on the bottle says it is a 10 oz gel, which comes in a liquid-soap, pump-action plastic bottle. It's not like the stock photo where you can unscrew the top and pour it out.The scent is the standard floral scent. If you've smelled rose-scented soaps before, this is no different. It doesn't linger or project. I don't feel any different than if I were to use a body soap bar. The description claims it has olive oil and shea butter. If it truly does, than they must've skimped a lot on it.I've attached a photo next another product that's half the size, yet it towers over the "10 oz gel". You be the judge...

This is truly the best body cream I have ever used! The scent is heavenly and the product is smooth and luxurious, it melts right into my skin! I do not feel greasy or sticky when I use it. My skin is noticeably softer and I look forward to pampering myself with it every night! Already ordered a back up because I’m using my first one up so fast!!! I highly recommend this product!

Is there anything more romantic than the heady scent of full blown roses? It's such a divine pleasure that I almost wouldn't care if the product weren't lusciously emolliant, but this one is. Pre de Provence knows exactly how to capture the absolute best from these fabulous ingredients. I've bought many scented natural cremes over the years, but none can match the exquisite luxury of Pre de Provence.

I hesitated to buy this because of the price but I’ve been doing my best to avoid plastic packaging so I thought I’d give this brand a go. This hand cream is fantastic. A little bit goes a long way and can sooth even my chronically dry cracked and occasionally bleeding dry hands. It might be my new favorite. And believe me, that’s saying a lot.

Scent is very personal. This cream is moisturizing and looks great. The rose scent however is both too floral and not enough true rose for me. It is hard to find this scent without paying exorbitant prices. I will keep looking!

El jabón huele muy rico, sientes que sí limpia la piel, no cala para nada, la exfoliación es muy suave.No me molesta que el empaque sea sencillo, el jabón es buenísimo.Lo que sí recalco es que en la etiqueta dice que el producto viene de China.

My favorite body cream. Beautiful soft rose scent

If your skin is thin and sensitive, then I don't recommend. The scent is pleasant, but the texture is very hard. It's not soft like a cream is supposed to be. I was disappointed. I tried the cream and now balm. The cream texture was hard, so I thought that balm will be a softer texture. I was disappointed. The balm is as hard as a cream. Do not recommend.

Excellent French cream. Recommend. The scent of the rose is magnificent, it's like smelling a real tea rose in the garden.

My wife loves the way it makes her skin feel and smell.
